The place is in very bad shape. Pastries are old.

Good gelato and the small cannolis were pretty good but 30$ for 2 small cups of gelato and 2 small cannolis seemed way overpriced to me . Felt like price gouging.

We asked for an ice cream as the first time in my life I had a small cup for $11 crazy!!

I'm from Italy, I was curious about tasting the real flavor of Italy, I ordered an affogato that its a gelato scoop and the counter person/server was extremely rude and gave me a microscopic gelato scoop, less than a tablespoon! 9 dollars and a lot of rudeness! Too bad because the gelato was ok.

I recently visited Pan e Dolce on Las Olas Boulevard and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. This was our third attempt at enjoying their gelato, and each visit has been underwhelming. On our most recent visit, I ordered a two-flavor gelato, only to find the portion surprisingly small compared to other gelaterias in the area. The serving size was so minimal that I finished it in about a minute, which left me feeling like they were cutting corners. Additionally, the flavor did not stand out, especially given the premium price. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I can’t recommend this place.

I went to Pan’e Dolci on Sunday Morning around 10am. They were out of St. Joseph pastries & the girl behind the counter had an attitude… sighing & rolling eyes… when asked if they were making any more pastries. When they brought them out, I purchased 4. When I got home they had virtually NO custard filling in them. Not only are they overpriced, but the service was not good & the quality of the pastry was not good at all. I will be taking my business to Doris’ in Coral Springs & make the extra trip from now on.

Sweets are old, pastry with ricotta which they charge more than 5 dollar for breaks almost your teeth and the ricotta is old and sour-ish. Staff goes into a discussion with me and try to convince me that the trash is fresh without offering anything else. If you pretend to be Italian and sell good Italian stuff, offer south European service as well which means: take that shit away without discussion, refund the money, offer something else of the house and apologize. But I guess in the US service is an unknown notion but everyone does know how to force 20% tip on everything. Worthless place.

Nice lil shop in Las Olas. The sandwich was deceptively good, and the service was good. A big selection for such a little shop.
