I left this restaurant feeling more frustrated than satisfied.

When I arrived without my phone, I was told that ordering was done electronically. Rather than simply offering an alternative, two staff members made me feel as though not having a smartphone was somehow my fault or that I was an inconvenience. The interaction left me feeling inadequate and unwelcome, which is the exact opposite of what hospitality should be.

What makes the situation even more disappointing is that, after the uncomfortable exchange, a tablet was eventually provided so I could place my order. In other words, the solution existed all along. Had someone simply offered it from the start, the entire experience could have been positive.

Restaurants should remember that customers come from all walks of life. Not everyone carries a phone at all times, and no guest should be made to feel lesser because they don't. Good customer service is about finding solutions, not making people feel like a problem.

That's not the kind of experience that encourages a return visit.

Hidden gem in fort Lauderdale and on the Riverwalk. Loved the pirate decor and the cute parrot resident. Right on the river with trains and boats going by. All the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was top notch and 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Barbados shrimp delicious. The sauce was phenomenal . Pirate bowl superb. Free parking too. Did miss out .

Good seafood. Patio has nice view of river. Only thing I didn't like is there's no counter bar seating, at least when I went for lunch.

Dirty and run down. Weird menu. We didn’t stay because if they don’t care how clean it is outside the kitchen I’m sure they don’t care how clean it is in the kitchen

We visited this place to celebrate our anniversary. We came to an empty restaurant and waited quite a while to be seated (which was totally fine with us). Then we were given the menu and told to sit wherever we wanted — which made us wonder what the point of waiting was. Still, we remained polite, friendly, and smiling to the staff.

We ordered two cocktails, an appetizer, and two main dishes. The cocktails were amazing, and the appetizer was excellent as well. The main dishes, however, were disappointing. My husband had shrimp with rice, which was very good. I ordered the seafood pasta, and I specifically double-checked that it was not spicy. However, it turned out to be extremely spicy.

I asked the waiter about it, and he said it was impossible for the pasta to be spicy. When I asked if they could remake it without spice, I was told that the kitchen was already closed (it was only 8:30 PM). Then the manager came over, and I thought he would try to resolve the situation, but instead he confirmed that they add chili flakes to the dish — despite there being no mention of that on the menu.

I did not finish the pasta. When the bill arrived, the pasta was still included. I asked the waiter about it, and he told me to go speak to the manager myself. I did, and the manager eventually removed the pasta from the bill.

I was very upset by the whole situation and by how the evening turned out. Throughout the entire experience, I remained polite, patient, and understanding. I never said a single rude word to anyone. I even left a tip — not a large one, but still, considering everything that happened.

Then, as I was leaving, the waiter came after me and said several unpleasant things, including that I would receive this kind of attitude everywhere I go. I simply thanked him and left.

Very sad and very unpleasant experience.

Service was slow. waited at the table for a server for 20 minutes. Thankfully we were able to move to another table where it seems the new server was ready, much more friendlier to greet us & take our order. Food was bland. Location of resturant was nice. Not interested in returning to resturant . customer service needs tremendous work!

It is a shame how such a nice place with good food goes down the drain because of the service. We came to this place many times before and even met the owner several times. He is super nice guy and I feel very bad to post this review. The problem is the servers and worst of them all- the manager. The servers gave you the fieeling that they really don't want you there and they don't even want to be there. Just really bad attitude. To top it off- the manager is a really piece of work. Arguing with customers, rude and extremely unprofessional. We were watching her almost getting into a physical fight with a guest. That is unprofessional and should not happen. We were surprised that there weren't that many pepole in the restaurant. We used to see that place very busy. Unfortunately now we know why. I won't be going there again.
