We came over today and ate at this restaurant, the food was amazing.

We Had a wonderful time visiting this restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the food was so delicious and comforting. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Ft Lauderdale, without question. We would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely come back when we’re in town :)

My wife and myself tried reggae roots. There's a Groupon for $30 of food for $15... Try the oxtails they are very tasty but they are $30 for a large so you can try $30 worth of oxtails for 15 bucks... Enjoy!

I went to this place because of the reviews. I Was in the area... For the $20 I spent on a drink and small curry chicken....it was just alright! And, In my Chappelle voice..that chicken was cold as ice!!! it was not matching the reviews. I'm disappointed! The portion was extremely small on top of it. Nice people though.

Paid $72 for two large oxtail plates with no gravy, about 8 very TINY oxtails that were not tender, uncooked plain white rice and uncooked cabbage.I also paid $8 for a piece of jerk chicken the size of a boneless chicken thigh. I will be disputing this with my bank. Unscrupulous.The worst experience at a Jamaican restaurant ever.

This place is really clean and nice and service was good just really over priced for the portions I got 3 pieces of oxtails and a corner of rice In a small circle bowl you eat cereal in !! I should have known better when 3 other ppl walked In and walked right out, there is no lunch special and don’t except gravy on your rice ? I paid $37

Walking in, this place is spotless, very clean, very professional. We ordered the chicken, pork, and oxtail to go. The chicken was good quality meat and very juicy while the flavors were exactly what you would expect from a highly rated jerk place. We walked in just before closing so they only had a quarter pound of pork left so they sold us that and compensated us with some extra chicken, veggies, and a bottle of their own pineapple jerk sauce (quelle suprise!). We didn't even ask for anything extra, the service was just that good! The pork was also delicious it's too bad they didnt have more! The oxtail was cooked perfectly, very tender, and there's a touch of sweetness to it as well which was a nice touch (and not out of place or overpowering). I'll definitely be back here!
