Rivertail

I went with a group of 4 for Father's Day brunch. Although the restaurant was busy, it didn't feel that way. The service was top-notch and the food was even better! I love their brunch specials too. We'll be back for more soon.

I honestly loved it here! The reggae vibes were so relaxing for our family of 4. There is no kids menus but they were very accommodating. LOVED THE MUSIC! The food was great. We left food but not stuffed which felt great. Definitely recommending and returning

Because this restaurant is on the Riverwalk and half was outside, the over all appearance was dirty. However our server was great and food was average. Would not go back but it wasn't terrible.

First time going here. Location is great if you just want to sit and watch the boats go by. Like others have said parking options are limited. Park in the city garage a few blocks away, use The Warf's valet for $15 or hope to get lucky and find a street spot. We got lucky and were able to find a spot on the street nearby. Value was great for its location. We opted for the trout and the snapper and both were good. The fish dip was good but a bit bland and we asked for some jalapeños on the side to give it a bit more snap. Brussel sprouts were good. Note that the beer selection is limited with nothing on tap. For a Friday night it was surprisingly not crowded. Service was a bit slow but we were not really in a rush so it could be the server was just giving us our space. Will likely go back again.

Happy hour was not communicated. Server kept asking if we wanted drinks , in a way suggesting before happy was over and didn't inform us our watered down drinks were not included in happy hour. The dinner was not worth the bill.

Rivertail was nice and quiet for a Thursday night. We had brussels, crusted fish and mahi tacos. The fish didn't come with anything on the side, so we just got a plate with a piece of fish on it. I thought that was strange for the price. The brussels were great and so were the tacos but I wish the tacos came with maduros or tostones instead of toritlla chips. Our server was nice and the restaurant was beautiful. I loved all the plants and landscaping. I would suggest having a separate area for people who don't want to eat near other guest's pets on the patio.

Inside the restaurant is incredibly loud. The music is played at a level that makes it difficult to converse. We waited for over ten minutes for a server to approach our table and once they did, they poured us water but informed us that we were not in their section. After about another ten minutes, the same sweet girl came back and asked if anyone had been by. They hadn't. So she said she'd get us started. We ordered drinks and an large appetizer. (Seafood nachos - which would take some time to eat) The nachos came out & she we put in our food order. Disappointingly, the entrees hit the table less than 5minutes later. It was very rushed and the small table was not large enough to hold all of the plates. The salad was overdressed and quickly became soggy. Would not recommend.

Great food, great service, and great vibes! I always sit outside by the bar. The bartenders are so friendly and funny. If you’re looking for a nice laid back spot with nice views and people, this is the place!

Good overall. The best was the service, very quick and on top of everything. Food was nice although had a bit more expectations due to James Beard nomination posts. It is a nice place with good setting and music. We went for dinner and do recommend to seat outside

For transient place like south Florida it's hard to find restaurants that are authentic generally it's good views high prices sub par or horrible if not rotten food. However, Rivertail is not it's authentic the food is fresh and not bang for but a steal. Highly recommend this place our server Julie did an amazing job, we definitely are putting Rivertail as our go to.

Parking: It's los olas come early and park there are 5 story multistory parking lot around the corner or better yet uber

Awesome happy hour!!! We enjoyed the oysters, wings, and ceviche. I also ordered the Mahi tacos and they were delish! Julia was top notch!!! We will be back!
