This market is top on my list for the fresh and delicious takeout sushi. We also get fun gifts, snacks, sake and Sapporo. This is my neighborhood gem and if I could only have 1 place for takeoutnfor the rest of my life, this would be my pick.

Objectively the best lower priced sushi in all of Florida. The sushi chef has been there for decades doing it all exactly the same way as he did in Japan.
The market itself has everything you could want to experience traditional Japanese cuisine at home.
There are no longer places to sit at Sasaya, so all sushi orders are takeout nowadays. Keep that in mind. I tend to just drive across the bridge and eat on the beach.
I've been going to Sasaya at least a few times a year for over 15 years now, and every single meal has been consistently great.

If sushi is not your thing, they also have the best soups, best home made ginger dressing ever for their salads, several noodle and rice dishes. Can't recommend this place enough.

Decent quality of sushi for the price you pay. Sushi rice is good.

Their grocery store has an unique selection of Japanese products.

I will always come back if I’m in the area.

The best authentic sushi and sashimi in Fort Lauderdale, with a decent selection of Japanese ingredients and items given the size of the store.

Came here for good sake. They got fresh sushi in the back and what seems like moderate prices. Good service. In and out.
Small store.

I love this spot!! Best authentic and quality sushi. Thick slices of fresh fish. I’m really particular about where I get sushi from and won’t go back anywhere else. I also enjoy checking out the unique products in the store while they make the sushi

You’ll find anything from China here.

The store has exactly what I want, which is organic Natto and if you like these lots of bonuses too and they make sushi as well. I give it five stars up as they just don’t run out. I’m so grateful.

The place is small but neat. We went there many times to buy Natto which my wife loves to eat.

This is a cute little Japanese market that has all the necessities you might want to get from Japan. They also have a sushi chef in the back. The sushi is mostly makimono. Things like California rolls and other types of rolls. The prices are reasonable.

Nice little Japanese matket, authentic good quality items at a fair price, the sushi takeout is a plus, the fish is really fresh.
