When we made our reservation, we were told to arrive at 7:30 sharp. We did, but we waited at least 10 minutes to be seated. My wife ordered the seafood pasta special, only to have the waiter return and say it was sold out. The other couple ordered salads to start. we did not. They came promptly. We did not see the waiter again until at least 30 minutes after the salads were consumed. We needed to call him. Finally, after we complained, we were served our main courses. The food itself was good, although we must have been the last ones served in the entire restaurant. The bread they served us was stale. The manager was apologetic, but at the prices they charge, the service was absolutely unacceptable. I had heard good things about this restaurant, but they really dropped the ball on our first visit.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale! The sauce, freshness, portions and love put into this food is amazing.
I got the bolognese and the meat sauce was so good, noodles were al-dente. If you can finish the whole thing I will be impressed.
My wife got the short rib which melted in your mouth. We came to have a real Italian family dinner and Serafina’s satisfied!
My kids got two orders of grilled octopus and calamari. I have not found another place that serves such a big portion of grilled octopus for the price.
This is definitely a romantic date place being on the water and everything but also family friendly.
The price matches the food and the atmosphere is great for an evening dinner.
I cannot forget our server, he was great and provided 5 Star service.

The food was amazing but I couldn’t say the same about the service. As someone who people generally like the staff was not as friendly to me besides two members of staff. This was also my first time dining here and I do recommend the food. Build your team around people who care about quality customer service and I bet this place will double its current numbers

Great atmosphere, decent food, high price tag, mediocre service.
We visited to celebrate Mother’s Day and felt like we were annoying the server by eating there, instead of feeling welcomed and celebrated.
I asked about the Mother’s Day menu and he snapped back as if I was supposed to know the features and prices.
I was hoping for a lovely lunch but it was just “ok” overall.

Smells like an old house, food just being tossed out they are just throwing any sauce on it. it’s not made with love.

Beautiful atmosphere, beatiful presentation, everyone was friendly. Service I believe because it was a slower time for them and the servers would get distracted it took a long time to get our food. Over an hour without drinks refilled or meals served. We had our salads and everyone eating around us were served around us, a 6 top and a 2 top. For some reason our order most have been forgotten. It happens. The manager came around before service but after that there was no one checking on us and I was not going to get up from the table to look for anyone or interrupt the table I could see down the way. I tried to get an item that they make off the 5 course meal as my meal I didn't care of the cost but they could not accommodate. I totally understand that. You have to order off the menu as is.

The location is quaint and has outdoor views of the intracoastal. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered the salmon and brazino which came with a lemon butter sauce. Both dishes had too much sauce making it a bit overpowering. Besides that it's a nice place to dine at.

This place used to be amazing! I always had my birthdays celebration here.
Sadly, the last two celebration events I had here were bad experiences with the service being slow. All three times the waitervtook forever to acknowledge us and took forever to get our drinks ordered. This ladt time time we had stopped in for lunch and were even more disappointed than the last.
We had stopped in as a party of three. After the long wait, all of us had to send our orders back, because oddly our pasta dishes came out so cold. After sending back, we had to wait again for the food to come out again after initaly waiting for a long time.
When our dishes came out, the food was now prepared correct and wasn't cold but the taste was lacking.
It wasn't bad, but wasn't good either. It was just ok, but with thr same high price tag.
Lasty, we were told there was NO management on site when we requested to speak with one.

I expect a lot more from this place, considering all the great reviews, but just kind of felt out of place. The food was good and not outstanding and service is fantastic. The staff is beyond greatness.

View: great
Old school vibe energy.
Go for the view and fresh air.
Food mediocre taste-less insipid; again: mediocre. Keep it polite and real.
