Swizzle Rum Bar & Drinkery Ft. Lauderdale

A friend and I dropped in for cocktails. What a interesting place. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed watching the bartender make our cocktails. You could definitely tell that he took pride in his work. Would stop back in anytime we were in town.

Really neat spot! Great speakeasy vibe, and wide selection of drinks including rum and other spirits. Drinks were delicious and original. Service was also great. We came in for a pre-dinner drink so we didn’t get a chance to try the food, but we will certainly return and give it a try! Also, drinks were reasonably priced. Overall, great experience.

Great spot to imbibe in that prohibition style chill dark scene we all love. Drinks were all natural juices and cool farm to table style ingredients. Great happy hour too!

I have been hearing about swizzle rum bar for a couple years but never had time to stop by when I was on vacation. That changed this trip and I’m so glad. The cocktails were well balanced and there were a mix of unique/classic options. Very cool vibe inside too!

Chris is the bestest bartender ever ! He’s so welcoming and down to earth, just a lovable person ! And don’t get me started on how amazing his drinks are! If you come to swizzle ask for Chris!!!

The drinks were incredible — balanced, creative, and made with real intention — but it was Jel’s energy that made the whole experience stand out. Wanted to like it, but cocktails are terrible. Had two cocktails, Lovers Quarrell (signature drink i guess) and El Presidente (recommended because I wanted a nice rum drink that wasnt overly sweet). Both drinks were sooo sweet, (sent one back and got a straight manhattan and it was also like overly sweet). Ended up leaving them both undrank... it takes a lot for me to not finish a $20 cocktail.

When we were leaving and looking around it looked like everyone who left also didnt drink the majority of their cocktails. Look if you're specialty is cocktails, like you should want people to drink like 6 of them. Not leave them 3/4 full. You've got one job! 😏

Music was excessively loud for a speakeasy. Auto gratuity 20% included so dont miss that in the dark.
