First time here. Have been wanting to try for a while. Dinner was great. Very cozy & charming. Food was terrific & tasted homemade. Had a great eggplant appetizer special. Both pastas were perfectly executed: pasta vongole & pasta with seafood in red sauce. Service was perfect. It is a nice crowd & the room is very pleasing. We will definitely return.

Delightful hosts and servers. Food was delicious. Service nicely paced. A bit noisy but it was a Saturday night and all tables were full. Sufficient room between tables. One of our favorite stops when in Fort Lauderdale.

Ate here first time & loved it. Small & family vibe. Big portions! Had spaghetti puttanesca which was great! A nice find

The food was great. Minor points were charging for bread when notice says it's free, the men's washroom in particular needs attention and the music was too loud at times. Definitely worth a trip though.

The best Ragu/Meat sauce I ever had! Including many meals in NYC's Little Italy! Wife loved Mussels and Clams App! Also loved the poached Branzino! Service outstanding and the owner came to check on us more than once. What more can you want —- get your reservations now!

The tastes in the pan fried tuna with black linguini were truly amazing. The freshness of ingredients and care of presentation were five stars.

Outstanding service. Really some of the most genuine hospitality you will get. It is an old school restaurant. Because it's small, you might be cramped. But they will ensure you're comfortable. They don't rush you either. However, the food doesn't keep pace with the quality hospitality. Tons of salt. The short rib was beautiful. But almost not edible because of the saltiness. The ravioli was delicious at first, but extremely heavy afterwards. With some refinement with the food, it could be a gem.

What an amazing gem, everything we have tried has been delicious and their service is by far the best in the area!

A true Italian restaurant, the food and atmosphere are like being in Sicily. The wait staff hums along to the Italian songs while attending to your table. A warm welcome when you arrive, and a fond farewell, come again when you leave. 5 stars all around!

The Etna Rosso is a can't miss spot whenever we visit Ft. Lauderdale. Luca, the owner, is warm and welcoming and truly wants each and every customer to enjoy their experience at his restaurant. The ambience is cozy and warm and service is efficient and professional and the food is exquisite. What a refreshing escape from corporate, loud, bustling and touristy restaurants. Whenever we visit The Etna Rosso we feel as though we are dining with family.

The Etna Rosso Ristorante delivers the kind of experience you hope for when you walk into a true Sicilian neighborhood gem: genuine hospitality, impeccable pacing, and food that tastes like it was made with pride—not shortcuts.

From the moment we arrived, Luca set the tone. As owner, he’s warm, attentive, and effortlessly friendly, creating that rare feeling that you’re not just being served—you’re being welcomed into a Sicilian dining experience. His presence elevates the room without hovering, and it’s clear he leads a team that cares about details.

We started with the Prosciutto, Burrata, and Sun-Dried Pachino Tomatoes over mixed greens, and it was a perfect opening statement: silky prosciutto crudo, luxuriously fresh burrata, and sweet, concentrated tomatoes that brought brightness and balance—classic ingredient-driven simplicity executed the way you hope at a quality Sicilian restaurant.

For my main, the Tagliolini allo Scoglio was superb—homemade tagliolini with mussels, clams, shrimp, and calamari in a tomato sauce layered with garlic, parsley, a splash of white wine, and excellent extra-virgin olive oil. The seafood was cooked with precision—tender, never rubbery—and the sauce struck that ideal coastal harmony you associate with great Sicilian cooking: savory, aromatic, and clean, letting the ocean flavors shine rather than burying them.

My wife chose the Swordfish special, paired with black squid ink linguine, cherry tomatoes, and olives—a dish that felt both elegant and unmistakably Sicilian in spirit. The swordfish was beautifully prepared, and the pasta carried that subtle briny depth squid ink does so well, with the tomatoes and olives adding snap and Mediterranean richness.

To round it out, I enjoyed a glass of Nero d’Avola, a classic Sicilian red and an ideal match—dark-fruited, structured, and perfectly in step with the seafood and tomato-driven flavors.

What truly ties it all together is the service: polished, friendly, and well-timed. Everything arrived with the right spacing, requests were handled seamlessly, and the staff clearly takes pride in delivering a top-tier Sicilian dining experience.

Bottom line: The Etna Rosso Ristorante is the real deal—superb Sicilian cuisine, fantastic service, and an owner who makes you feel like family. We’ll absolutely be back, and I’d recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for authentic Sicilian food done at a high level.

“Familia” is what Italians feel at home and that it what Luca, the owner of The Etna Rosso Italian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale created for us as soon as we entered his restaurant. His Warm greeting choosing our seating and making us feel truly at home, felt sincere. The setting is charming and cozy indoors or out. The service is impeccable and the food and presentation is impressive and delicious. We enjoyed an appetizer, beautifully done, salad, and shared a pasta entrée along with a nice glass of his recommended wine and felt at ease and at home - what more can you ask for a beautiful night in Fort Lauderdale?
