We hit the restaurant during a slow time so had great service and food was served very quickly!! My family enjoyed the food. Im a bit fussy about pancakes and found mine a bit flat but I ate them anyway!! They were perfect for the other family members! Loved that we could upgrade to maple syrup for a tiny bit extra!! Im sure we will be back next time we are in Fort Lauderdale!
We had breakfast at The Original Pancake House for the first time today. My husband had the 2-2-2 with pancakes bacon and eggs outside of hash browns and his food was good. I ordered the Irish omelette with corned beef and swiss cheese with added spinach inside and a side of hash browns and rye toast. The Omelette is a 4 egg omelette and it's gigantic but it came with no spinach that I added and hardly any corned beef and one big glob of Swiss cheese in the center and virtually...
This was my first time visiting after passing by several times. I may have hit a bad day for my waitress, as she was not very attentive. The restaurant is very clean and the menu is very busy. I ended up doing all side orders and was a little surprised when my bill exceeded thirty dollars. But the food was served promptly, had a great appeal. It was hot and filling.
