wish i could give this place zero stars. its my first time here and i ordered a simple chicken sandwhich and after 35 minutes i’m wondering why everyone got my food before me and even the people who came in after me, just for them to not have even made my food this whole time. Large parties came in after me and all got their food before me, that doesn’t make sense to me.

This place hires Illegal Immigrants . Last Sunday 3 illegals came to claim their paycheck. The owner Gladys never pays them the last week. Only if they come with their Work Authorization. Really? She hired them with no papers and now ( when is time to pay what she owes) , she requested that? Cops got called and she was forced to pay. Under Fl law is hiring with the intent to defraud. Her dog Osvaldo is part of this Scam.

I used to love this place- the new vibe is overpowering and tacky... I'm not sure why they chose a "50's" theme for the place- it needed an upgrade but in comparison it was so cute and peaceful before. Food here was always good! I would still encourage others to go eat but for me it's kind of an eyesore now and I haven't been back because I don't like or relate to the atmosphere. ( This is a personal opinion on the decor- food and coffee is fire.)
I paid $11.99 for a bacon egg and cheese on a Cuban roll with 2 eggs. I didn’t know the price until I got there. In what world is a bacon egg and cheese $11.99?? Seems very excessive in my opinion but the staff was very nice.

I haven't been back since I graduated from college and let me tell you that it's just as great if not better!The food is always enticing for when you want a nice and filling meal for reasonable prices! And if you want to eat there, the environment is friendly and packed with nostalgia! Definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't already. And if you did in the past, come back again!

Phenomenal interior design, coffee is fairly priced & very good. Food prices are about standard but above the standards & quality of most establishments. The workers are very kind as-well & helpful. The spot has been around for nearly two decades & i really hope it stays even longer. One of the last old school Broward establishments around.
