First visit and have to stay will be back a few more times. Tried two dinner plates—delicious, a lychee Martini—spot on! Now have to go back for the pizza and try a few other plates on the menu.

We ordered a pepperoni pizza and cheesy bread. They gave us a cheese pizza and mozzarella sticks. Of course we didn’t notice till we got home. Very disappointed.
Pizza was fantastic. Would definitely recommend here!

After many chances, Verino’s and my family have broken up tonight….Valentines…We first tried Verino’s last summer and it was the best pizza we’ve tried here! We went back a bunch of times (for pickup). The first chance we gave them, the pizza was uncooked and still managed to be cold when the guy gave it to us. The second time, the mushrooms were clearly canned and the crust was burnt… but this time? When we first walked in, the dinning room was the most crowded i’d ever seen it! They usually have 2-3 families in there so it was quite the surprise. What wasn’t the surprise? Only one waitress and it was the one who fully ignored me the last time I came in to pickup a pizza.Initially, we started out with the cesar salad and the calamari. They both sucked. The salad had a metallic aftertaste like it was sitting in a metal bowl for a couple hours.. might’ve just been the bottom of the lettuce. The croutons tasted a bit like burnt funnel cake which left a nasty taste in our mouths. When the calamari arrived, it looked sad. After tasting, we realized it was the same breading as the burnt funnel cake croutons- obviously. But that being said, it also left a nasty after taste. The calamari meat itself was okay. It was a bit too gummy for my own liking.I understand that there aren’t many waiters in the resturaunt but for the waitress to not check in or ask for refills is a bit annoying. Everytime she walked by, she would look the other direction or look somewhere else instead of simply stopping…that’s fine. After ordering our pizza, about 45 minutes later, we called over the waitress for refills on our waters. When the drinks finally (she took a while to get it) arrived, she mumbled that our pizza supposedly was ready a while ago but it was the wrong pizza and they had too many orders to restart our pizza………BUT GET THIS!! We ordered the North End pizza. When it arrived, I know at the very first glance that I would NOT be eating that. My mother followed along, commenting on the RAW veggies on the top. Who genuinely likes eating raw onion and pepper on pizza??? My father took a look at the dough because it hadn’t appeared well done, as requested. He removed the cheese only to discover the stretchy, watery, melt to the touch dough underneath…. We called back the waitress to completely take this pizza off of our check. She asked if we wanted another pizza and although I usually don’t speak up, I said no. That was our last nerve with Verino’s. How could they possibly send out such a vile looking pizza?! Not to mention, there was literally some kind of liquid on the top of the cheese that just made the pizza soggy! Are you serious???But everything happens for a reason because just 45 minutes later, we found our new favorite pizza joint! It’s a small hole in the wall artisan pizza place called “The Doughfellas”. I totally recommend you guys try before even giving Verino’s a chance. We gave them multiple and look where we ended up.

We tried Verino’s tonight for the first time and were not disappointed! Shared a pizza and the chicken parm. Both were delicious! Afagato and cappuccinos for dessert delicious. Our server was Nick who was great! We will definitely be back on our next visit to Fort Lauderdale!
Everything was delicious, from the Pizza to the salad and the minestrone. Our server was efficient and really pleasant.

Not just pizzas! Although that what we chose! The pizza was a great size, crisp and perfectly cooked with plenty of toppings. The staff were friendly and welcoming. All in all great pizzas and a wide selection of food choices. The menu is clear and easy to read and understand. Plenty of good seating. Also plenty of free parking in the lot outside.
