Cōste Island Cusine

We had dinner in this restaurant and really liked the food, the service and also the view. Although we were late and shortly before they closed the doors, the staff was still friendly and patient. We wanted to have dinner again, since we liked that much. Unfortunately it was on the day when they were closed. A restaurant which I can definitively recommend.

Gourmet quality at affordable price , I had a hard time finding a nice place to eat in fort mayers beach, since almost all the dinning options are bar/pub quality . This place blowed my mind, great menu , great prices , amazing quality and attention to details .

Beautiful view of the beach at sunset. The food was sooo good. Mushroom Ravioli , Lobster , martinis were excellent. Waiter was delightful and attentive.

The level of service and the taste of the food were not great. For example, there was no taste to the steak de jour. It was supposed to be fine dining and the prices reflected that, but it did not meet our expectations.

The food was great. Our waiter Andrew was excellent and answered any questions we had about the menu. Definitely will be back next time we are in town.

Excellent experience at Coste with beautiful views that really set the tone for the evening. The entrees were well composed and nicely presented. The redfish was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the 12oz NY strip was tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Overall, a refined and enjoyable meal.

Chianti was lovely. The fish special was $48.00. The Seafood Cioppino was okay. Pappardelle Bolognaise was not good. Homemade pasta was stuck together and somewhat clumped. Chewy. There was no sauce on some of the pasta. The bolognaise was fair. Brussels sprouts were excellent. Seared Ahi Tuna Crisps were overcooked. Service was good, atmosphere was great. We won’t travel 45 minutes for this restaurant again. Our group of five gave this restaurant a B at best. As the one who ordered the pasta, I’d give it a C-.

My first time at Cõste was an unexpected treat! Ideal portions of amazing food from grouper cake appetizer to beet salad to scallop entree to the traditional espresso martinis for dessert. Our server Zachary’s blend of humor and premiere service not only made our experience top notch but fun too. I can’t wait to come back!
