We had an awesome experience this past weekend! The food was excellent, cooked the way we wanted it and Gus, our server, was excellent! Hope to dine there again next time we are back!

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is very fun. But the service is absolutely outstanding!!! In my opinion this is a must-do if you're near Fort Myers Beach.

We literally went here two nights in a row while on vacation. This place checks all the boxes. ✅ Local, great location, atmosphere, staff 🙌, food 🤯. This small open aired restaurant has the literal nicest staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Very personable, efficient, and helpful. The food was phenomenal. We had triple fin fish for the first time here. 🤤 Even the 6 year old loved it here. (Kids get a free Frisbee 🖤) Perfect place to eat dinner with your family in a relaxing setting on the pier watching the boats go by. We WILL be coming back to the area just to go here again.

Classic waterfront casual dining experience. Food came quickly and was tasty and well presented. Service was excellent and just the right amount of attentiveness. You are paying for water front views and you get them.

Great spot on the water and fantastic food. Key Lime pie is the BEST EVER!! This is a frequent restaurant for us.

Parking: Parking is difficult. We parked at Doc Fords which is their sister restaurant and next door.

Dive! If you're looking for fresh fish/ shrimp, and a few cold ones, this is the spot. Really small menu, removed even more. Don't get me wrong, we go often, just know not alot of options if you're in a group.

We sat at the bar and I asked for the chicken sandwich which is $12 and some change on the menu and asked if they could do it in taco form thinking just a couple dollar up charge if any at all and the bartender charged me for grouper tacos which is a $24 dollar meal? Chicken and Grouper are two different proteins which should have been completely different charges. When we asked him about it he said there wasn’t a button for chicken tacos so they charged for grouper tacos? Any person in the industry would know to charge for the chicken sandwich and sub taco. He also charged $1.00 for cheese which is totally fine but there were maybe 5 little flakes of cheese on there. He also got an attitude when I asked for a side of buffalo sauce? We got completely ripped off. Service was not great.

They’re accommodating to parking, that alone brought my business and would return again.

Parking: Very limited parking and the other very nearby establishments will threaten tow if they see you not walking to their place

Gus was fabulous! He made great food recommendations and was very attentive but not overly so. He really made our experience at Dixie fish company memorable. We will definitely come back. 💜

One of our favorite Fort Myers Beach restaurants, expect a wait for holidays and in season. They have a good array of margaritas that are all very well crafted. The loaded chips are good, and all of the fish and shrimp entrees are excellent. They serve the kids meals on frisbees that you can usually take home if you want it.

We tried to eat lunch here this afternoon. Hostess told us there was a 15 to 20 min wait. We asked to be included on the wait list and provided name and phone #. got a text message at 1:53pm indicating we were on the list. After my wife observed numerous table turning over we thought it curious we had not been contacted. After 45 min we went to the hostess and indicated we would go elsewhere for something to eat and she could remove us from the wait list.
Her response in front of numerous guests at her hostess station was : Well I sent you a text message and you never responded.
At which time I produced my cell phone indicating the "your on on wait list" message, but NO subsequent "your table is ready" message. I told her she did not contact me as indicated by messages on my phone. I take her response as a clear lie about her attempted contact with us.
As we were leaving the hostess station several chuckles from waiting patrons suggested there were derogatory comments directed at us by the hostess.
After coming to Ft Myers beach for 49 years and eating here many times over those years, we will not be coming back to this restaurant .
If asked, I would not recommend this restaurant.
