This drive in spot had great food. BBQ brisket, pulled pork, and the mac and cheese was spot on. Good portions and the price was really nice. I had the dessert too. It was yummy.

Hands-down, the BEST banana pudding I've ever had in my life.

Food was mediocre. Theres just not enough smoke for bbq. Unfortunately it tastes like it is rushed and thats just sad. The service was good, there is just no where to eat at all. Not even a picnic table just a small parking lot with limited parking. Its unfortunate because theres no real good bbq around the area.

They USED to be so good when they first open, but now, the portions are not worth the price, and forget about getting anything moist. The last few times, including tonight, we ordered moist brisket, they are drier than dry. We were hopeful, but back to Mission BBQ we go.

This was my first time back in a while. My server at the window as always greeted with a great smile said I haven’t seen you in a while. First of all it’s nice when they recognize you and notice. She asked if everything was ok. I told her I felt they was going through a rough patch and we talked a few details but she was reassuring and told me they was on track. It’s a difficult place to go to anyways because it’s usually only drive through and walk up and the drive through has been down for months. I told her i was going to get turkey which usually is on point. She said I just had some and you will love it. I’m not going into detail about they other food because she said the made a few hard changes and are back on track so I will reserve that for another review when I eat the other food again. I did get the turkey and a side of Brisket Mac. By the way I will drive from another town to get their Brisket Mac. It’s insanely good. The turkey wasn’t quite the top 100 like it usually is but it was still good. But that friendly smile and care that I’m always greeted with makes such a huge difference. Let me say all contact I’ve had with any of them since they been there has been positive. Even when it was a constructive conversation. So hats off to Big Nicks for listening when they need to. I will drop more reviews as I explore the menu over the next couple of months. I will try something different every time to review.

Back at Big Nicks and trying the pulled pork for the first time. It presented well. Had half pound of pork and waffle fries. Over all not bad. The pork was a little bit dry but great smoke flavor. It definitely needed the sauce to get through it and the bit of seasoning they added to the top definitely helped with the flavor. Think there is a little work needed on over all flavor IMO but over all I’d get it again. As always they are always so polite. Between scooping the pork up with the fries and adding the sauce it was a decent lunch.

I've driven by this place a hundred times and never had the chance to stop. Today I had a few minutes so I stopped and ordered some food to go. I had the brisket with Cole slaw and some potato salad. The brisket was very good and the potato salad was excellent, the slaw was good, about what I expected 😋 I had the western Carolina BBQ sauce and it was great. If you have the taste for BBQ, give Big Nicks a try, you'll be glad that you did.

They forgot to bring me my order, brisket was extremely dry even though the manager claimed it was moist. Forgot the sauces for our burgers and the brisket. Overall terrible restaurant.

The food was garbage. They forgot our order and made us wait an extra 15 minutes. The burger was crap, they didn't even put sauce on it and claimed that they always put sauce on the side. It's a smash burger. I would have to rip the bun off the cheese in order to put the sauce on. The brisket sandwich was dry and didn't come with sauce despite us asking for it. I brought up these concerns to the manager and he said I was being nit picky and would consider a refund if I had a real concern. Terrible food, terrible management. Avoid this place at all costs. You're better off going to McDonald's or burger king.

That was a fantastic burger and definitely get the brisket mac n cheese. Don't let the parking lot freak you out they're fixing it up.

Got the burnt end "platter" and WHAT A RIPOFF. Decent portion of brisket but half of it was inedible it was so tough. And its so soaked in sauce, I'm guessing I got an old portion, because you aren't even supposed to smother burnt ends. Maybe a light touch. And my "sides" were about 6 waffle fries, and the smallest cup of Mac n cheese I've ever seen. Super disappointed. I'm legitimately angry. Place is called BIG NICKS but the smallest portions I've ever seen. Don't bother. Go up the street to Mission.
