From the moment you open the door to enter until you walk out the door you are very well cared for and treated like family. Chef Cal and his beautiful wife, Genevieve, are very involved with the restaurant and interact with their guest quite a bit. The food is like no other.Very rich and authentic. The food tastes so good that I really hated to swallow it. And wait until you are seated upstairs in the dessert room after your meal. Brunos of Brooklyn is more than a restaurant, it's an exper.

The Eggplant was very flavorful, firm and lightly breaded , the sauce added depth to the dish
Broccoli Rabe was a knockout also, with plenty of garlic , olive oil and spices, just what I was hoping for . Bold flavors that lingered on the pallet . 😋

Even without a reservation, the owner’s wife graciously found us a table, which we truly appreciated. The new location is beautifully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Pro tip: Don’t miss the desserts upstairs—they’re a must-try!

The most incredible meal. We stumbled upon this recommendation from a bartendar at the Martini bar. Only in town for a one night work trip. The service was excellent, the owner was out on the floor with such incredible customer service. the food .. I don't even know where to begin - it was some of the best pasta I have ever had. We ordered off the 10 year anniversary menu but the homemade gnochi and the fig pasta were to die for. 10/10 would recommend.

My 8 month pregnant girlfriend and I decided to go to Brunos while downtown, and were very rudely welcomed by (who I assume is the owner). I had a cup of water and she immediately and harshly demanded that I threw it away or got off the property right away… I mean it was just a cup of water… no big deal… and then after that, she basically rushed us into ordering in a very rude and careless way. She made my girlfriend feel extremely uncomfortable. It almost as if she didn’t care to have our business. It was a very strange interaction… I can’t quite explain the rudeness all the way, but she seemed angry for no reason. Me and my girlfriend got up and left after that…. This is not how you run a business. You want your customers to feel welcomed, not confused and uneasy.
