Beautiful restaurant. Very attentive waiter! Food was delicious. Excellent quality steak- tender and flavorful as can be. But I ordered medium well, specified no red. Filet arrived medium rare. I didn't send it back because I was able to fill up by eating the edges. The waiter was so nice I didn't want to complain.

For a wannabe steakhouse experience they need some pointers.drink ..goose on the rocks was not the norm quantity wise for the price or what get at a Palm or Ruth Chris. Food was pretty good except the creamed spinach weird and not really creamed. The location at the resort also strange given if located in the main building there might be an beautiful view instead of tennis courts.

We were unfortunately disappointed with our recent experience at Courtside Steakhouse. We were in town for a conference taking place at the resort and thought we would have dinner at the on property steakhouse for convenience. Our waiter was relatively nice but honestly difficult to deal with. When asked how items were prepared, members of our party were asked "if they had a problem with that" rather than saying something to such as "its normally prepared this way but I'd be happy to ask the chef if he can accommodate your request". The same happened when asking for a fresh brewed cup of coffee. Even Denny's will at least tell you they are happy to brew a fresh pot. Here we were told, "well I COULD do that for you but I assure you there's nothing wrong with the pot we brewed earlier".The food was certainly pretty good but the service and the fact that the restaurant is currently only accessible via stairwell due to a broken elevator made our party of partially handicapped individuals less than enthusiastic about visiting again for future visits to Ft. Myers. We expected better service than a diner when eating at a white tablecloth steakhouse.

Very disappointing experience. We thought we were going to a nice, top level steakhouse. First, there were many open tables but they sat us at the table closest to the bathroom and directly facing the tv in the bar. When dining at these prices, I don't expect to be watching football from my table. Then the food came. The shrimp and crab in the seafood sampler were so salty they were barely edible. We received our entrees before our salad came out so we sent the salad back. My filet was mealy and flavorless. The seasoning they use overwhelms the flavor of the meat. And then the boiled Brussels sprouts with uncooked bacon. I told my husband it was the worst meal I've eaten in years. It ruined our date night/NYE. What a disappointment. I don't normally give harsh reviews but definitely think twice before spending $300 for two at this restaurant. You're better off at a cheaper chain restaurant.

This was our first time at the Courtside Steakhouse, tho' our friends had been there several times before. The food was very good...but that couldn't overcome the very poor service...so poor that when the manager came around to ask how our night was going, and we asked him when the bread server was going to come by, even he couldn't find our bread...then disappeared himself, I assume in embarrassment. That said, the restaurant has great potential...if only they understood they might need to staff up a little for big events, like New Year's Eve.

The food was just good, the steak was ok but nothing I craved after I was done, and the sides were ok. The best one was the masked potatoes and we didn't even finish them. The side portions are large so 1 is enough for 2 people, & we had gotten 3. The dessert was the best part of the meal. The ambiance is ok but confusing - the inside is white table cloth fancy but the outside is overlooking tennis courts, which is strange. And the elevator seemed to be out of order and the only way up was the staircase, which was fine for us but not sure how a handicap person was supposed to get up there.

Our party of 9 arrived not realizing that (post-Hurricane-Ian) the elevator was out of service. Since the restaurant is on the second floor and our guest of honor was wheelchair-bound, we thought our evening was ruined. But the staff here was so gracious that they served us in a private room on the first floor! They could not have been more accommodating! Add to that the the food was plentiful and delicious, and we cannot recommend the experience enough! Many thanks to the quick thinking and incredibly hospitable staff for a lovely evening!

First I would like to start with what I felt was good about this restaurant. I ordered the Nebraska ribeye which was delicious and cooked to perfection! The restaurant is located up a flight of steep stairs so seniors handicap beware. Secondly the service was HORRIBLE FROM START TO FINISH.. our waiter was very condescending spoke broken English barely checked with our group . Lastly the manager went to each table to see how the food was .. passed by our group . When we looked at him is when he doubled to check on us . The only good part of our experience was the steak and the assistant to the waiter was excellent.People of color be careful choosing this restaurant

We had a great time here on Christmas eve. Sam was our waiter and was gracious. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. The She Crab bisque was amazing. All the sides were generous and delicious. We'll certainly go back.

The cost and menu give the appearance that it's a high end steak restaurant but the overall food quality was not where it should be for the cost. Blue point oysters weren't as good and the desserts and cappuccino /expresso machine is non existent. We were told it's been 3 years since they had a machine.

Had a difficult time connecting with the restaurant via phone, but the actual experience was top notch. Good wine, delicious steaks and the scalloped potatoes were perfection. Will be back!

We walked over from the hotel. There were only four other table seated while we were there for our reservation at 7:30. The restaurant itself was dead, and very quiet. The steak was cooked quite well. The potatoes, au gratin were excellent. Overall, was a good experience. I do prefer to go to restaurants that seat, many of people and that you know have food turnover. When they are that dead, it makes you wonder how fresh your food is going to be. I will not be going back anytime soon. Would rather go to Morton's or Ruth Chris, they are the same price range as this?
