This place used to be a great change of pace from all the usual in the area. As time went on the quality started dropping big time. Mac & cheese should be removed from the menu all together but the meats are well done.

Do not come here unless you have an appetite for waiting an hour on your food when its a songle plate of food and order of mac and cheese. Mann i would of been on a plane to mexico and coming back from a week long vacation if i had known my food was gonna take forever

Never will I return, my hot wings was salty, soggy, brisket was paper thin and greasy (it was literally all fat) corn wasn’t seasoned and full of grease! I wish I got the experience that other people said they got??♀️
First time ever trying and will definitely be back! Got the babyback ribs, rib tips, brisket and their cornbread and it was absolutely delicious! Service was great pulled up to order all this food and only had to wait 15-20mins for it to be ready.

Went on Friday around 3pm. Hours of operation state 11 am to 10pm. It was not open. Very disappointing. This definitely needs to be updated.

Ok we were on a quest for the best bar ba que in Ft. Myers area. We searched and tasted several locations. We asked locals and researched reviews. Well, the hands down conclusion is Deep Down South BBQ. They have the perfect elements for success. Delicious sweet sauce and tender meats, large portions, and fair prices. Don't be fooled by the large trailer as a restaurant in a parking lot it is authentic as a family-style get-together. Eat in your car or bring home or back to your hotel and feast. Prepare to wait. Each order is custom made, and the lines are long for good reason..
