Excellent NY style pizza. Been a few years since my last visit because of distance, but it was still great Pizza just like my last visit. This is a must if your in downtown Ft Myers even our President Trump came here to eat a while back! This is the same street that the 1985 Filming of Day of the Dead that was filmed. The opening scene was filmed right here in downtown Ft Myers. So this street has some filming history to it. I must say again the pizza here is fantastic and sooooo delicious. I even bought a cannoli to bring home. Go try it you might LOVE it! My next visit I will have to try the meatball parmigiana!

Despite the major crowds they can get, they always have a magical way of making sure everything is hot and served quickly, never had an issue, never had a mess up, always on point.

IMO, best NY style pizza in SWFL. Plus, service is quick, and depending on the weather, plenty of places to sit, either inside or out back

Casual pizza place in downtown Fort Myers. Seemed like a place you find in New York. You can purchase by the slice or a whole pizza pie. Salads are premade. Desserts are delicious and ready to go. Slices are $5 and desserts are $5. Pizza pie starts around $22 and up. There’s lots of seating inside and outside in the back. Parking might be a challenge. There’s street parking or public parking garages. Not free except for the weekends and after 5pm (street). The lasagna pizza and the vegetable Stromboli we had was delicious. 30 minute wait, but it was worth it.

My family of 6 absolutely love DTHOP! Modern pizza shop atmosphere and plenty of seating, great location for an after dinner stroll through the streets of old Ft Meyers. The pizza was authentic and delicious. Their dough did not leave me bloated! I asked their secret and they said less yeast! Definitely my favorite pizza spot in Fort Myers.

This is the best pizza in Fort Myers. The Lasagna pizza is amazing. It is too far from home to be my regular pizza place and there is no parking so pick up was a pain, but it is worth the effort if I am close enough to plan it for dinner. If you are in the area try it.

Did the pizza recipe change? I been eating DHOP over 20 years. I always tell people it’s the best in town. I ate there last night and my pizza that I always order every time was different. The sausage was different the sauce tasted different the crust was burnt and it was thinner than what I’m used too. If the recipe changed can you please go back to the original.
