Dru's West-Indian Roti Shop

The family loves this shop wish it was closer to me in Minnesota. thank God we have it when visiting mom,sister and niece and nephew. They have awesome food and service.

Omg I'm so picky with food this place the food is so good . Taste like your mom cooked it. Highly recommend this place if your a foodie/ picky eater.

Guyana food “ Dru’s West Indian roti shop”.This is a great adjective for describing food that's full of flavor or that has a delicious quality in its taste and Aromatic . The food is really outstanding! Every meal we had was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Hands down, some of the most delicious food I've eaten lately! Chicken curry with paratha bussup shut roti ,Goat curry with Dhal puri roti yummmmmmy combination. It was a very satisfying meal, Highly recommend the [chicken curry ] and [Goat curry ].

No this is NOT the best Guyanese food .....

My take is that this food is mediocre/ not even close to good.
My orders was to go order the chicken dish has tiny pieces of chicken, tiny pieces of goat lots of bones, shrimp also was not enough for the price you guys are charging...all said there was not enough protein/meat in all dishes
[1] all foods too greasey/ too much oil...
[2] over priced on dishes...
[3] beef,chicken,goat,fish/shrimp is fairly cheap here in the United States...
Stop acting like it's luxury and it's not even organic chicken or goat or wild cough shrimp so please...
Get a grip and elevate your standard to a US standard....
And maybe this place will have more than Guyanese or west Indian coming to the restaurant..
And maybe you should put the word ( RESTAURANT) ON the name???

The best Guyanese Food in Fort Myers and the entire West Coast of Florida! Service was extremely courteous. All the Food was fresh, hot and extremely tasty. The Mauby and Ginger Beer were bursting with flavors. I Definitely recommend this spot to anyone considering.

Vegetarian options: Very vegan/vegetarian friendly. Great for someone looking for healthy food options as well

The service was welcoming and friendly. I ordered doubles, curried goat special with pumpkin and baghi, plus a shrimp special with paratha and a bake and saltfish, to go, and I can't leave out the delicious sorrel. The food was freshly prepared and hot. The pepper sauce reminded me of home in the Caribbean (Trinidad). I drove over 30 miles one way way to get this food and it was worth it. I will visit again soon to get my curry fix. Simply delicious.
