When it comes to Caribbean food in Fort Myers, this is my ho to Restaurant. Ask Berline, the owner, for her special Griot.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! The woman who took my order understood everything I said , I asked for Stew Chicken which is on the menu and she told me “No, only fried” I was confused and said “The menu says Stew. She got irritated and called someone and I said the same thing ( I should’ve followed my first mind and left” so she brings me the food and uncharged me $18. Nothing on the menu over $15 or $16 but the fish. So I said whatever but I don’t know if she saw my drink so I’m telling to the woman to ensure she got the drink and she ignored me because the other one peeked back. I felt so uncomfortable. So if you are an American , you will be treated differently if you walk in here. Sadly. Never again !

This was a great find!!! #HiddenGem The food was so delicious and big portion size for $17 which was supposed to be a one person meal. I ended up sharing it & we were pleasantly full & couldn’t quite talking bout what we wanted to try next! Yum 😋 🤤 this place is a must try. Just an FYI make sure you come prepared to use your Google Translate for Haitian Creole 🥰👌🏼that’s some good food when you gotta use google Translate!!! I know it doesn’t look very inviting due to the old antique building/strip mall but I promise you, you won’t regret it once you open those doors & the heavenly smells & how clean and nice it is in there. 🙌🏼🫶🏼

Wow! Authentic Haitian cuisine right here in town. My family and I were pleasantly surprised by Ebenezer Restaurant. The portions were huge - we had enough leftovers for days! We tried the fried snapper, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. The oxtail stew was rich and flavorful, falling off the bone. For the kids, we got fried chicken which they devoured.

The sides were just as impressive as the mains. The beans and rice had that perfect homemade taste. The fried plantains were a standout - savory and slightly dry, making them the perfect vehicle for soaking up the delicious Haitian hot sauce. They even included a fresh side salad, which was a nice touch.

What really stood out was the lady at the counter. She was super friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. It's rare to find such great service these days!

If you're craving some authentic Haitian home cooking, definitely give Ebenezer Restaurant a try. Just make sure you come hungry - or be prepared for delicious leftovers! We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Awesome Haitian restaurant with authentic Haitian cuisine located in Fort Myers, FL. This place is not really talked about but definitely a hidden gem! All my true ?? know about it because it’s always packed. I recommend ordering ahead b/c wait time is close to 35-40 mins. Language spoken is French & Spanish when calling in. I’ve ordered in creole & my order was still slightly wrong ??‍♀️. Everything is cooked fresh, food is always delicious! Menu includes Soup joumou, oxtails, turkey, griot almost everyday. The soup goes quick though.
