Fat Katz Sports Bistro

I am from Chicago. I know what a good burger tastes like. My cheeseburger was outstanding. One of my friends raved about the chicken sandwich. Our server Melanie was quite good. Our beers were never empty. Nice size waters with lemon for a thirsty ball club that just finished a 3+ hour extra-inning ballgame. Restaurant is 10 minutes from Fenway South.

Food is very good and a great value for your money. The White Hot Shrimp is the best appetizer I’ve had in a long time, and the fish tacos are filling, and the side of beans and rice really impressed me.

I can’t say enough good things about the staff. I’ve dined here twice and both times our service was over the top! The people here are all friendly, relatable and kind. Will be back to further explore the food menu!

Very good food & service.
Showed up kind of late, close to closing time. We offered to order to go if too late & they said no! Eat here!
Very friendly & fun & kind atmosphere.
The cook even came out & asked how everything was. It was delicious and great quality with big portions!
It's a nice small hometown establishment, and we can't wait to go back!

Stayed at the Days Inn which was withing walking distance to here. Was killing time before check in and we stumbled upon this. Walked right in and was greeted by the wait staff, sat at the bar, and was quickly waited upon. Was in town for a concert and some of the workers were attending it as well and it made for good conversation. The burger is pretty big and delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend here than the Cracker Barrell that is next door. There was outside seating, but it was middle of the day in 95 degree weather so we chose indoors.

A bit crowded, but the service was great. I went there for a business meeting and everyone could hear our private conversation. Better fit for a leisure lunch or happy hour.

Theresa and Avery were phenomenal and literally went above and beyond he call of diner service. Very friendly even when I was clumsy and spilled an entire glass of soda all over myself and their floor. And the wings are some of the best I've had in a long time!

The braised beef quesadillas were a perfect app for the 6 of us to share. Meat was tender, tortilla was soft yet had a crunch. Paired with with the pico de gallo they provided on the side.
The burgers were cooked perfectly, well done, medium, and med rare respectively. Despite the amount of delicious toppings, the burger as a whole was never messy or difficult to eat. Even the bread never got too soggy.
Their fries were so good and seasoned that ketchup wasn't necessary and it still had a crispiness toward the end of dinner.

The ONLY critique i could give would be to make the menus a little easier to see for folks with vision problems. Space them a little more for example.
