Ordered basil chicken and was served something completely different with no basil.
You can tell that they prep everything in batches and assemble as it’s ordered instead of cooking fresh to order (cold broccoli, no wok hei, boiled/velveted chicken, mushy rice noodles)
the chicken tasted like it was velveted in the same water they cook the shrimp.
Overall, a pretty disappointing experience, considering how many times it’s been recommended to me

We had a very good meal, attentive service. It wasn’t to loud so we were able to have conversations.
Back to Ginger Bistro today for a quick lunch or I shall say brunch ..besides their great dim sum ( my favorite are steamed ginger soup buns), I decided to venture out and try their bbq combo .. I went w roasted duck and crispy pork belly..sooo good 😊. Of course, I took most of it Home-big portion for sure. Service was good, a glass of plum wine was only $5. This place is great !
