“Wow! Authentic Haitian cuisine right here in town. My family and I were pleasantly surprised by Ebenezer Restaurant. The portions were huge - we had enough leftovers for days! We tried the fried snapper, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. The oxtail stew was rich and flavorful, falling off the bone. For the kids, we got fried chicken which they devoured.
The sides were just as impressive as the mains. The beans and rice had that perfect homemade taste. The fried plantains were a standout - savory and slightly dry, making them the perfect vehicle for soaking up the delicious Haitian hot sauce. They even included a fresh side salad, which was a nice touch.
What really stood out was the lady at the counter. She was super friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. It's rare to find such great service these days!
If you're craving some authentic Haitian home cooking, definitely give Ebenezer Restaurant a try. Just make sure you come hungry - or be prepared for delicious leftovers! We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.
