“Devil’s advocate here: As an American, I only recently acquired a taste for Haitian food. Not that it’s bad, but it’s just not something I ate growing up. But I’ve eaten it enough to know when it’s flavorful and coming from a good cook versus Haitian food that’s the exact opposite. Currently, I live downtown Naples (George Washington apartments) so I’m right across the street from a Haitian restaurant. I’ve had their food enough to know that the food is okay, very greasy though. And the restaurant has no working air conditioning. At this restaurant, however, I had one of the best experiences yet had from a Haitian restaurant. There was a good selection of music playing, the lady taking our order was very nice, there was a line of people waiting (which to us means the food must be good), the food was cooked fresh, the griot wasn’t too greasy, and the rice was nicely seasoned. My only complaint was that I saw a roach crawling across the floor while I was dining in. But the food was so good I didn’t even care. 10/10 highly recommend“
“Very Carribian atmosphere I didn’t expect from this little hole in the wall Many Large fresh Shrimp crispy fries the salad was outstanding large and filling loved the almonds in it everyone has to try this little gem and the price was reasonable and I shared it all with my guy and we were full going back for sure .Parking: It’s in a strip mall plenty of parking“
“Everything everyone had was excellent. My friends had a bunch of appetizers and everything was delicious. I had some of the specials for the evening - smoked salmon with all the accoutrements, and a red snapper dish that was served Mediterranean style. They both were fabulous. Profiteroles for dessert! Love Le Bistro.“
“The woman over the phone spoke very softly with a heavy accent, and we both had a difficult time communicating. She actually hung up on me one time because she gave up trying, lol. But, if you can get past the language barrier, the food is absolutely delicious. It's very well worth it, with huge portions (enough for 2 people) and a variety of sides (that come included). I recommend the griot (fried pork platter), you won't regret it!“
