Went to HJ German Corner for dinner mid week and had a very enjoyable experience. We were greeted at the door and made to feel welcome. Great German menu of food, beer and wine. The food was made fresh per our order, portions were large and tasty. The red cabbage was the best I’ve ever had. Wait staff and the chief were very attentive, frequently attending to any needs, making sure we were happy with the meal. The lace curtains in the windows and environment transported us to old Germany.

This place is a perfect German restaurant. An extremely friendly gentleman who knows everything about the food greeted us immediately and brought beers and food in very quick timing. The atmosphere inside is great with some jaunty tunes playing and a number of small touches that make you feel like you're in Helen, GA. The local curb appeal isn't top tier, but everything within is fantastic. Don't pass this up if you're in the area and love some authentic German food and atmosphere. The bratwurst and currywurst are both fantastic and the on tap beer selection is exactly what it should be.

One of the best meals I have had in a long time. I got the pork loin with dark beer gravy, saurkraut, and potato dumplings. Everything was so flavorful, moist, and delicious. Ive been to Germany to vacation and the food was just like being back there. The Black Forest Cake was also delicious and so moist and the perfect amount of settle sweetness. I loved all the German decor and the restaurant was very cozy and welcoming. Both the waiter and owner were so friendly and kind. I mentioned I could eat there everyday, that is how good the food is. I will definitely be back again!

ive been wanting to try this spot for a while. such a cute little place. the timing to receive our food was fast for a fresh handmade meal. waitress was very sweet too. i got the weinerschnitzel and spezi and my husband got the käsespatzel. we got the black forest cake after. super flavorful, i ate the whole plate. amazing atmosphere and decor. we will definitely come back.

Authentic Amazing Astronomical...beyond my expectations. The food was so rich and flavorful The waitress was the sweetest as can be. The 🥨 pretzel was hot and delicious. From start to finish A+++++ The decor, the, music....the only thing that could have made it better was if I was in Germany. This restaurant ambience makes you feel like you are outside of Octoberfest enjoying real German food.
