Stopped by around 11:45am on a Friday. This place was busy but clean and neat. You must order at the counter as they do not have table service. In fact, there are very few tables inside to sit down at. There are a lot of stand-up counters and a couple high top tables or there are outside tables on the front deck area to sit at. Jimmie brings it to SWFL!! Not to be missed if you crave a taste of home. Johnnie’s, Al’s, Mr. Beef, Buena, Portillo’s (?) Jimmie knows what he’s doing and can stand tall with these guys!

Jimmie The Beef Guy is a Chicago style beef joint serving actual Italian beef. The Italian beef sandwich is incredible, amazing, and the absolute best, tasting just like the real deal from back home. Toppings include sweet peppers, hot Gardineras, and mozzarella. The food is fantastic, so fresh, so delicious, and worth every cent. The entire staff is warm, welcoming, and very friendly, with fantastic service. The owner is hands-on and super welcoming. The experience feels like being transported back to Chicago itself, a taste of home right in Ft. Myers. It is a five-star spot that comes highly recommended.
