My reviews for Il POMODORO must seem like they're copies of each other! The food was incredibly delicious and the portions are large enough for 2 meals! Our server was awesome and helped us get in and out of the restaurant. I'm disabled so this is greatly appreciated. The parking is always a breeze. It's by far our favorite spot in Ft Myers. I consider it to be casually elegant. Broad menu of Italian cuisine. It's a 10 out of 10!
I had Calsone with spinach and mushrooms. It was very good, but light on the mushrooms, and I would have preferred fresh spinach (vs sautéed). My wife had tortellini with shrimp, peas, and mushrooms (see pics). It was very good. Our friend had salmon. She said it was delicious. The portions are very big. The server was friendly but not as frequent as she should have been. E.g., my water, which is my preferred beverage, was not filled as frequently as it should have been, especially...
