The osetra caviar is decent. Momma Mia Oysters are great. I don't like bluepoint. The lobster roll is massive and they did an ok job on risotto. I prefer it over Gordon Ramsey. I would rather go here than Hell's Kitchen Las Vegas.
We used to live close to downtown and moved out of state. We are here on business (in Naples) and made a point to stop here when we left the airport before heading south. Ordered our food and shortly after the manager came out to tell us they were out of scallops. Well we thought no biggie we will just eat our appetizers and then go to one of our favorites downtown for dinner. Well the food came and the sushi was mushy and mostly rice (nothing like we’ve had here before) and the service was so slow that we missed getting food because while we were waiting for the waiter there come back and check on us and to get our check all the other restaurants closed. So after $60 for 2 drinks (1 each) and appetizers we left hungry and apparently will be getting pizza at 7-Eleven.
We went to Izzy’s a few weeks for date night while visiting Sanibel Island and we’re still talking about the food and service! It was St. Patty’s day weekend so downtown Fort Myers was very busy, but the peaceful vibe from inside of Izzy’s drifted onto their patio seating. We showed up hungry and started lofty with the seafood tower. Everything on it tasted fresh! The portions were large and after adding on the La Plancha (octopus) we decided that we had our fill, though we continued to eye up their menu. The portions that we watched stroll by our table were humongous and every table on the patio had a smile on while enjoying delicious seafood. Our waiter Adam was a breath of fresh service air. He was kind, attentive and had a lot of knowledge of the menu. Our date night moved slowly and was just what we needed. We WILL be returning to Izzy’s in downtown Fort Myers because the food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the bill was very reasonable. Fine dining on a budget is certainly do-able here!
Great local seafood restaurant downtown FT Myers. So Sad they did away with their fantastic Two for One Happy Hour Drink Special!
Great food and service. Hot Lobster roll was amazing!! Caroline - our server was the best.
We sat at the bar and enjoyed a few drinks and dinner. Bartenders were extremely busy but attentive to the patrons. We will be back soon!

Beautiful place.. waitress comes back after 30 min and states she hadn't put our order in yet because she was waiting for our appetizer. We got all of it and hour after ordering. The rice to the sushi wasn't cooked well, the shrimp for the po boy was over cooked as well as the waffle fries.. they took off the price of the appetizers but honestly the food was not that good and the waitress was nice but not very good. Won't be back

Late lunch at the bar, had the fish spread and a brew. I try fish spread on any menu, this was Wahoo fish and flavorful mix, served with flatbread crackers which added a bagel seed mix layer and takes away from the fish.
Good service, multiple seating areas in & outside, nice wall murals, laminated menu.

Always enjoy the chefs creations. Everything is always great! We always enjoy the Brussels sprouts appetizer. I hate Brussels sprouts but these are the bomb. Danielle was our server and she was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable.

Taking guests out of town to a nice meal was ruined when a family member was served rotten produce mixed in their salad. The staff did not care that they were visibly upset over possible food poisoning, and offered 15% of the salad, and left it for her to pick out the rotten pieces. Eventually they took the salad off the bill. That was big of them, thanks for the horrible evening.
