My husband and I had a great lunch here! Mussels and oysters were delightful and prices were reasonable. Our server was attentive. We will definitely go back!

We’ve been going to Izzy’s for a couple years now and we were delightfully surprised with how amazing our server Zoë was. While other experiences were generally good, Zoë made this one great. She was attentive and had a great attitude. We’ll be asking for her in the future.

We had 6 people so we had a table upstairs. The atmosphere was not desirable. Possibly downstairs would be different. Food came out at different times making it awkward. 1 order came out very late (shrimp and grits) and was too salty to eat.

4.9.2024My husband and I are locals, and celebrating something special this week. We enjoy walking around Downtown Ft. Myers. We love Oysters, and decided to give Izzys a try. We arrived 10:55, found a seat outside. A young girl came out and asked if we could see the hostess in front, and let her know we were outside. No problem, the hostess was a heavy set women, who made it perfectly clear-They were not Open yet! (Open at 11:00l) My husband said He knew they open at 11 and asked if we could look at a menue while we wait. She told my husband- When I see you sitting outside I will bring you a menu then! Not sure if this was the place for us, but we really wanted the Seafood Tower. Starting at the Top- The Shrimp were covered in 0ld Bay and rubbery, The Lobster Tails had been frozen, and left to thaw out. Even more rubbery ($10.00 at Publix's at best)Fish dip absolutely flavorless. The Clams were swimming in water. The Oysters were not fresh, very fishy smelling and pretty much inedible. The Civece was nothing more than salsa with what looked like leftover shrimp pieces with a glob of avocado on top. And the separate so called ahi tuna patty was nothing more than a few small bits of tuna pressed into a patty of salsa with another big glob of avacado. The Cost of this Tower is $145.00Our server was great. And she was actually training a new hired waiter. Probably not a good example for him. The bill with 2 drinks was $175 and because this was not the servers fault, we still tipped her $35 making the total for this horrible lunch $210. Unfortunately for us this was definitely not the Special Lunch we were looking for, we might as well thrown our money out the window. Will not be back.

Ordered blackened snapper. It was so overcooked that I needed a knife to cut it. Gave it back. The server offered no apology or even a discount. Paid the bill and left. Will definitely not return.

I'm new to town and have been here twice already. The oysters are fresh! Fish and chips are really good, too. Place gets busy, so be prepared to wait a little bit, but it's worth it.
