What can I say about sushi? I’m not a sushi chef, but I can tell you this: Maks has been one of the best spots we’ve ever experienced. The ingredients are always incredible, and the atmosphere makes every visit special. We came the very first week it opened and haven’t stopped coming back since. Dining here truly feels like something unique.

Maks was fantastic! The service was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Every piece of sushi was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. A real standout was the special lobster sushi roll it was rich, perfectly balanced, and unlike anything I’ve had elsewhere. Definitely a must-try! I’ll be coming back again soon and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for top-quality sushi and excellent service.

Have been to many Asian restaurants throughout the country. This restaurant is one of the best I have been to. Great atmosphere, great service, wonderful food expertly prepared, fresh seafood, excellent sushi. We will be back! Try Maks and you'll wonder why you didn't try it earlier!

This plac is absolutely amazing. It can get rather busy here. I would recommend a reservation.
The associates were VERY attentive, polite and welcoming. We ordered the crab ragoons, edamame, Mongolian beef and chicken udon. The spices and freshness of ingredients will definitely keep you coming back for more.

Great sushi place with a large sushi bar area. The food was excellent and beautifuly presented. Definitely a date night or even a lunch spot that will easily impress. I loved the shrimp tempura rolls and the lobster roll omg !

Absolutely phenomenal! The General Tzos is the best I've ever eaten. Chicken lomain tasted good, but I like fatter wetter noodles that have absorbed more sauce. BUT it was carry out... Perhaps it would have been even better had I eaten it after it was first prepared.

From the locals your going to hear a lot about about Ginger Bistro. They are worth a visit, but MAKS should certainly be in the discussion about who is best in Fort Myers.

Maks sushi really is one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever been to. The sushi is incredibly delicious, the atmosphere inside is very cozy, and all the workers are very nice and friendly. I love sushi and I'm very picky when it comes to it. After trying many restaurants in other states/cities, nothing compares to Maks Sushi. There's a reason why it's one of the top 50 restaurants on YELPS list of the top 100 sushi spots in the US.
Hope one day they can open a bigger restaurant, as it can get very busy/crowded inside during holidays and weekends.
