Seriously the best pastries I've had in almost 4 years of living in Ft. Myers. Had no idea it was in this non assuming building (the Atrium), I can't describe how good the food is. Do not short change this place because of the location. It is truly the most amazing dessert I've had in a long time. Thank you Mermaid Garden Cafe!
Just finished a wonderful brunch at this nice cafe with great service. I had the grilled eggs with chorizo. It was entirely excellent and reasonably priced to boot. Easily my new favorite brunch in Fort Myers. That all said, I can't believe some people are complaining because it's in the Atrium. Who cares?! And why are you surprised that there are no mermaids here? Mermaids ARE NOT REAL

Cute little cafe. The atmosphere is quaint. I'm not sure about the location of the cafe. The food is good and has a Latin flare. They have interesting combinations that actually work. I took my girls there and they loved it. The hot tea was great. My son had a beet lemonade that was delish. Empanadas we're quite yummy. The pic I am posting is the sandwich I had. It's called the mermaid ole. Prices are decent. Will definitely go back.
