Beautiful enjoyable place and I love seeing Evelin this morning at breakfast. She was here at my last stay wonderful to have long lasting people that are dedicated to your resort.!!!
I used suite night points for an upgrade. Easy friendly check in be prepared for a half hour ride from airport however if you're using Uber or Lyft. Ended up in a high floor corner suite in the Captiva building just ended up working out well for the view and quietness in the evening. This building also has its own swimming pool which is more private than the main building. It has a view of the causeway to Sanibel and the harbor area. Be prepared in the morning if you think...
There is a terrible stench coming from the drains in the restrooms on the second floor that staff do not seem to know how to resolve. The front desk referred us to the banquet manager who indicated Engineering was notified. Two days later, no resolution. For health reasons, it is important for Marriott to identify the origin of the stench and to notify guests and staff of possible exposure to toxins.
