Pelican Larry's Raw Bar and Grill

I'm handicapped and don't drive so my girlfriend went to pick up the food. However, the experience started by not being able to get a hold of anybody after multiple phone calls.... So she had to drive there to order. We even called another location to ask what their issue was because this has happened a couple other times before. They weren't sure but thought their phone lines had an issue. If that's true then management is more apathetic and I thought because it's happened before. I ordered blackened grouper and my girlfriend ordered buffalo chicken sandwich. We really love their beans and rice but this time they were average at best. I don't know what happened. I spit out the first bite of fish because it was bad and I proceeded to try the other five pieces and they were all bad. I'm pretty sure it wasn't even grouper because of how small the pieces were. It was either Lane snapper or tilapia. My girlfriend's buffalo chicken sandwich with subpar also. The worst part was they didn't include the blue cheese dressing with it like they are supposed to.
I received messages from the new team. They are revamping with new menu and new staff and new ownership/management. They also made it right with my bad experience. I will look forward to trying it out.

Very disappointed 20 minutes to be greeted, oysters were dirty, and the big guy was doing all positions. The tiny wings, they need the Naples managers to come and fix this location

Had high hopes after reading reviews and looking over the menu online.
Very disappointing experience.
The place was dead and it was an incredibly long wait. The menu was different from what was posted.
Fish should have stayed in the water. Not good.

The owner Evangelos is the most serious owner/operator about his business in the entire bar/restaurant scene. He runs an effective, tight ship with no room for error and conducts himself impeccably for being such a young man. Always frequent this establishment when I’m back in town and will continue to do so.
