Starz Italian Restaurant - Gladiolus Dr

My friend has told me about this place for a long time. She said it was awesome and I finally visited with her. She raved about the pizza. She was right. The supreme is delicious. Normally I start with cheese to get an accurate rating but we got a personal pizza, so we went with supreme.

We sat at the bar and Morrie served us. He was very friendly and attentive. The other regular patrons were welcoming. We had a couple of beers. The beer was the same price as an Arnold Palmer.

I'm a picky Italian so that's why I only gave that four stars out of the food. But it is very good and the people in the atmosphere is awesome. I highly recommend

Stopped on a whim. What a great find! Very friendly staff and the service at first was a little slow but got to excellent soon after. The food was excellent and there was a great vibe in the place. I got spaghetti and meatballs which was a larger portion and very good. Also ordered an appetizer Italian sub which was huge with a wonderful coke slaw. Very reasonable price and very tasty food.

This was The WORST Pizza I HAVE EVER EATEN!! ACTUALLY, EATEN IS NOT THE PROPER WORD, DRANK DOWN EACH BITE WITH A GLASS OF WATER FOR EACH SLICE! DRY!! BARELY ANY SAUCE OR CHEESE!! I TRIED TWO SLICES & EACH SLICE HAD “ONE” PIECE OF PEPPERONI, ABOUT A TABLE SPOON OF MUSHROOMS, TWO TABLE SPOONS OF CENTER CHOPPED ONION CHUNKS, (not actually cooked) And about as much as a McDonalds small hamburger crumpled up as sausage. This was a PREMIUM PIZZA, w/o green peppers. 14” Size not shown online in ad, and the PRICE FOR THIS CARDBOARD WAS: $22.90!! To have eaten the box would have been a better option!!

Told 30-35 min on pizza pickup which was not ideal. After 50 min I asked for an update and pizza was waiting in back done.

This is a legit down-home Italian place. It’s not fancy but relaxing and welcoming. The pizza is excellent—it comes in regular or thin, crispy crush. Delicious. The steak sandwiches and meals are equally as good.

Driver showed up and said I may want to put the pizza in the oven… that was over 1 1/2 hours after they said 15minutes for delivery… ? I figured an hour even though I’m only a few minutes away. I called at an hour and they said they were out for delivery… I live so close but my pizza showed up 40 minutes after that call which was their closing time 8pm. And the quality has gone down… they brought me a bigger size as they knew they messed up, but they could care less about rushing it over..instead it showed up cold and gross…. Like it had been in someone’s trunk for 5 hours cold. I’m not even sure it’s safe to eat, so I threw it in the garbage after one bite. What a waste of time and money. I wish I would have ordered anywhere else.. Since they clearly don’t care, they’ve lost a customer who’s been ordering for 10 years.

2nd time at Starz and once again another problem. I ordered online and indicated curbside pickup along with make, model and color of vehicle. It would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived in 25 minutes and parked directly in front of the front door with my emergency blinkers on. I waited for 5-10 minutes the staff at register saw me. No one came out so I went in and told them I was supposed to have curbside. I was told they did not have curbside and that the website was wrong. I replied then you should have it removed. I did not call them because it did not state that on any signs nor on the website. They could clearly see my white suv in front with blinkers on and yet no one came out to the car to ask me anything. I wished now I had not given a tip on the pre-order.

The food was really good, the atmosphere was quiet although I was there late for lunch, the service personnel was very kind but stressed from something that was not noticeable.
The pizza is fabulous.
