Chef makes some pretty delicious food. Michelle our server was top notch very professional and exceptional. The ambiance was very nice with beautiful live music out in the lobby which was fantastic. We really enjoyed ourselves tonight. One of the nicest places to eat downtown fort myers it's a must try.

A lot more expensive than it is rated. This is easily a $$$$ restaurant. The food is amazing, but it is definitely a date night only place. I went with my family of 5 and spent over $300. Very friendly staff and good food.

My husband & I were absolutely delighted with everything about our experience at The Silver King! We were seated promptly by a friendly & accommodating hostess! The atmosphere was perfect for a quiet meal. Our server Michele was a true delight! Attentive, very helpful with our selections & just very personable. The meal was one of the best we have had almost anywhere we have traveled including Rome! There was a wide selection of dishes. The presentation exquisite. Every single bite brought a smile to our faces! Do t skip their desert! Perfect experience & meals!

The manager at the time was very rude. We ask about tables that was empty for over an hour and she bluntly lied about the were reserved for other parties. We had a 7:00 reservation and got there at 6:45. They seated us at 7:00. This place was not busy at this time. Plenty of tables available. They sat my husband I again a wall very tight area. The couple next to us ask to be moved because we were so close. Nobody should be seated next to that wall.

The Silver King Ocean Brasserie offers very good food. However, the noise level is too much. I know remediations have been used (table clothes to absolve the noise in the past.) I had to move my chair to the side instead of opposite my fellow diner in order to enjoy our conversation.

Had a great experience at The Silver King. Great menu, cooked to perfection. Really liked the open kitchen and watching the chefs prepare the dinner. Definitely returning when we visit Fort Myers!

Had a great experience. Food was excellent as was the service. Had the seared grouper and it melted in my mouth. Loved the Bean Cassoulet it was served on. We will definitely be back.

We were extremely disappointed in The Silver King Ocean Brasserie. We made reservations there before a performance at Florida Rep solely because they were advertised in the theatre program and offered a pre-fixe dinner for $39/pp. When we arrived, we were informed they no longer offered the pre-fixe dinner option because customers were not ordering it - so arbitrarily discontinued it without informing Florida Rep - even though they are getting their full benefit from advertising in the programs. The food offerings were minimal - marginal at best and inordinately expensive - $28 for the 5 mediocre shrimp cocktail....rediculous. We had eaten at The Silver King when it first opened - but will definitely not go back there again.
The lighting in the restaurant was not great - my husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary and requested a quiet cozy table. They put us right next to the kitchen in one of the brightest parts of the restaurant. With such a 'front row' seat to the kitchen, I'd have to say that the kitchen should probably not be so visible to guests as it's not a clean looking operation. The food was okay, they went heavy on the pepper in every dish and I probably would have enjoyed it more if I couldn't see the kitchen so vividly. The service was odd and inexperienced, I'm still not sure who our server was.
The menu has changed, the carrots were way too spicy, my grouper was good but was served on beans and cut up sausage which was not explained to me, yuk! The butter lettuce salad had way too much dressing on it. My husband's steak was not edible, we took it home for the dog! It took 1.5 hours to receive our food. Last year this was our favourite restaurant, better luck next time?

Overall delicious! 2 slices of bread $6. The Grouper was amazing but the cassoulet portion was too salty. They were gracious and brought another but still more sodium than I like. The dessert 10/10! My server was wonderful!

This has to be one of the worst menus I have ever seen in a nice restaurant. Very limited selections and the vast majority of the menu is a wine list. I'm not the only one who had the same issue with the menu. As I stood by the hostess station explaining why I was leaving and not eating, a gentleman came up to the stand and said “is this all you have on your menu?” I couldn't have said it better myself.
