Only went to stock up for a corporate party but the selection and knowledge was 10/10. Can’t recommend enough.

I was in the cigar bar last Friday I’m surprised they were in a hurry to find Eileen’s replacement Jamie made me an old fashioned was terrible this place used to be my hang out over 6 years every Friday. It’s unfortunate I’ll never be back on Friday seems the bartender is only concerned with selling drinks. Very impersonal.

Very friendly staff. Great selection of cigars, bourbon and whiskey. Awesome atmosphere. Great spot to enjoy a cigar.

As a Google Local Guide Level 7 with over 4.8 million views, I’ve been to a lot of spots—and the World Famous Cigar Bar in downtown Fort Myers is one I know well.
I used to live in Fort Myers for 6 years, and living downtown meant this place was a regular stop for me. It’s connected to Cigar Bar Live, so you’ve got live bands and a great bar scene right next door, which makes the whole setup really fun.
What really makes it stand out is the vibe—dim lighting, cozy chairs and couches, and a relaxed atmosphere that feels welcoming every time you walk in. They also have a humidor on-site with cigars, and you can actually smoke inside, which adds to the classic cigar lounge feel.
Courtni is honestly one of the best bartenders in downtown Fort Myers. She’s knowledgeable, kind, and has that down-to-earth Southern charm that makes everyone feel like family. You can tell she has a ton of regulars for a reason.

Dropped by on 2/26/26 to look for a nice cigar for my dad’s upcoming 70th birthday. Tony at the front desk was kind, experienced, thoughtful and genuine. I went to the downtown fort myers location several years ago to also look for a cigar for my dad and was laughed at when I could not offer any information on his taste preferences. It was such a demeaning experience that we left without buying anything. Tony made up for that experience and then some. He was patient and made sure I was fully satisfied with the purchase before leaving. Thanks for the great birthday idea, Tony!
