I had heard the hype, who hasn’t? Every time someone asks in a SWFL Facebook group for “the best pizza in town,” the overwhelming response over and over again is Uncle Rico’s. I finally couldn’t stand it and my curiosity got the better of me. For the record I live in the Cape and work in Estero, so despite being right on 41 this is still a bit out of the way for me. That no longer matters. This pizza is worth all the hype it gets and more. The accolades are not enough....
I took my family here and got the Angry Uncle pizza. The pizza was so, so good. The underside was exactly the right amount of crispy, without being too thin. The pepperoni was plentiful and had just the right amount of cook on it and the hot honey was the perfect touch. The decor was cool, tons of nods to the early 90s, which I’m a sucker for. And it must be mentioned that the service was awesome. The women at the counter were warm and welcoming and very nice to my family....
Absolutely the best pizza 🍕 in town. Pizza is always hot and ready when we pick it up. Garlic knots reminds of home as well. And salads are ALWAYS freshly prepared with great products. One of our favorites for sure!!! Our food always exceeds our expectations. Keep the awesome food coming. Please 🙏🏾 do not change a thing.
