My son loves bread pudding, so I wanted to have that as one of the desserts at his rehearsal dinner. I am not from this area, so it took a bit of research but I had seen someone post that Julie’s had a delicious bread pudding. I contacted Julie and she was so sweet and even offered to make a bread pudding for my son and I to try! We tasted it and, of course, it was delicious!! We placed our order and we were not disappointed!! I had several people tell me at the rehearsal dinner...
I went for breakfast this morning - specifically for the French toast and was NOT disappointed! Jan met me with a smile at the register and after paying, she asked if there was anything specifically I wanted from the buffet line. I told her I came for the French toast and within just a few minutes, the most perfect slices of French toast were brought out - FRESH! None of the food needed additional seasons and it was all hot and delicious. I recommend checking them out for Saturday...
Very nice, hospitable folks. Food was home cooked and yummy. Limited choices, but cooked fresh! The potato salad tasted like store bought but hot foods all tasted home cooked. It's located inside the American Legion we drove by the 1st time. If we'd read the bottom of the sign hanging on the fence we would have realized it was in the A.L. Overall, very friendly group and great place for home cooking!
