Omg Kristina made our beautiful cake!!!! It was delicious and very beautiful!!! Her customer service is top tier!!! Thank you again!!! Highly recommend to anyone in Destin or Fort Walton Beach!!!

We recently scheduled a cake testing for our wedding with Kakes'n Konfections.The atmosphere of Kakes'n Konfections is interesting to say the least. You can't tell if she's a thrift store, having a yard sale, or uses her establishment for extra storage. Due to this, Kakes'n Konfections presents itself as unorganized and dirty.We had to clear and clean the tasting space prior to sitting. The table with multiple unorganized knick-knacks (small battery-operated candles, etc.), items had to be moved from around the seating area including handicapped grab bars.When you walk into Kakes'n Konfections, it does not smell like a bakery. Most importantly, Kakes'n Konfections cakes are just EXTREMELY dry; the slices of the sample cakes crumbled and did not seem fresh. We requested strawberry, lemon, and red velvet. She stated that red velvet is always the moistest but it was still disappointing.Overall, the experience was lackluster and not worth the $50 charged for the cake sampling.

My son loved his birthday cake. It came out exactly like he wanted and tasted so good!

I was so happy and relieved how everything turned out! Kristina handled everything perfectly and from 12 hours away that means a lot!We picked 3 different flavors and each one was to die for!Thank you so much!

I would love to give 5 stars because her cakes were delicious but I can't do that. I scheduled Kakes n Konfections for my wedding and she did not come through at all. I paid for a cake tasting...picked out my cake...and asked for a contract to make a deposit. I had to constantly contact her, asking if she will be available to do my cake (she assured me she would do it). In the end i had 2 weeks until my wedding and i still haven't made a deposit and no contract. Thank god i was able to find someone else to create my cake for my wedding.

The Cake Was Very Hard And Tasted Like Corn Bread Im Very Upset. I Was Excited To Drive 7 Hours To Destin For My Wedding Cake. Our Restaurant Host Even Said It Was Very Nasty.

Each time that I called Kakes'n Konfections there was no answer. I left a few messages advising that I'd like a cake made for my daughter's birthday that we'd be celebrating in town. I did not receive a return phone call. It would have taken someone just seconds to call me back. If they are too busy to take on additional request, it'd be simple enough to add that to their recording. Instead you hang up feeling as though they have no interest in new customers. I just consider it poor business management.

My sister absolutely LOVED the custom Slytherin cake for her 18th birthday!!! It looked amazing and tasted delicious! I highly recommend Kristina for all of your custom cake needs!
