Pepito's Mexican Restaurant - Fort Walton Beach

The food was awful 😖. The service was poor. When, paying for my bill. The female working at the cash register had the nerve to ask if we left a tip. Don't recommend this place at all.

Food is good, standard Mexican. Chips are awful. Greasy and taste like they are fried in burnt or old oil. So gross.

On the other hand the salsa is the best I've ever tasted!

This place used to be our go-to spot for Taco Tuesdays with the family. We came often, loved the food, and enjoyed the atmosphere.. until our last visit completely ruined it for us.
One server, all smiles on the surface, crossed the line. When it came time to pay, she shoved the iPad in my face so quickly and so close that I couldn’t even see what I was tipping. It felt intentional. I later realized I had tipped over 20% far more than we normally do, especially when the service didn’t earn it.
It wasn’t just pushy. it was manipulative. That kind of behavior is unacceptable, and it felt like we were taken advantage of. We won’t be coming back, and it’s a shame, because this used to be one of our favorite places.

The wife and I went here while on vacation from Louisiana the food was amazing. We went in a little after lunch time had no wait and the service was awesome

Best Mexican food experience I've ever had. The food was fresh and delicious, and the portions were more than generous. The atmosphere and decor is beautiful. The restaurant is very clean. Also, all the staff was so pleasant, and our server, Chris, is top notch. Can't wait to go back. It's our new favorite Mexican restaurant.

Went there last night with a big group and it was disappointing. Food wasn’t good and service was horrible. Our server was rude and took so long to get our food and drinks. Restaurant wasn’t packed, but they were having celebration outdoor so I guess our server would rather party outside than be a server. Was given crumbs of chips and ran out of salsa. When I asked for more salsa, server rudely said “1 second” but still did not refill it. Atmosphere was okay since it is sort of new location and building but Peppers in any location is way better and friendlier. Will not come back and do not recommend.

Beautiful restaurant and service was fantastic. Enchiladas, taco salad, coconut shrimp, and fajita burrito were delicious. Cheese dip and chips hit the spot. Would definitely recommend it, and we'll be repeating guests for sure!

The place is nice. But the chairs are more comfortable then the margaritas are good. The place is clean and nice but the food is pretty standard to be honest

I hadn't eaten fried fish in a while, we ordered fried fish, it was very tasty and generous, the service was excellent, I recommend it 100%
