We tried Rick's last year and had a great experience. Had to come back again. Oysters were fresh, big and reasonably priced. Shrimp and grits were fire! Will be back every time we are in Ft. Walton.
This place overall was pretty good. Food was good, service was good, and it was pretty laid-back in there. The one complaint I have is that they have an 18% gratuity tip automatically added on tab for a family of 3 adults and 3 kids. A heads up would have been nice before seeing it on the ticket. Other than that, it was good.
The staff was very friendly. Dre, our server, was right there when we needed anything- he made our visit wonderful! We ordered appetizers and, although we had to wait a little longer than my son would have wanted, when they came to the table they were very hot! The fish was tasty and the crab claws were exactly what I was looking for tonight! Thanks to the hostess and to Dre, they made our first night out very nice!
