Food was absolutely delicious. My Dad got the fried shrimp dinner. I got the chicken sandwich. They put coleslaw and tater sauce on the sandwich. I was leary and told them to put it on the side...just let them put it on the sandwich! It was delicious! 😋
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the sign and website said fried crab claws but when we ordered they didn't have any. However, the Mahi Mahi was awesome with potato salad Cole slaw, and the gumbo is Louisiana boy approved. The fried shrimp and hush puppies was pretty good. All the way from Tennessee we recommend this lil spot.
Stewby's is a bit off the main road, and definitely a must visit in FWB! They have a menu with lots of choices, you order up front and call your number when your food is ready. Prices are not over the top, and portions are generous... We had 6, 2 kids, and tried the fried fish (excellent!) with green beans and fries. Green beans are some of the best I've had. Fried oysters were excellent, shrimp was terrific too! Hush puppies are tasty with a bit of green onions mixed...
