we ordered coffee and it was cold so they made a fresh pot which was warm and disgusting. the syrup fir my waffle was like water and had no taste. our waitress brought out more in a cup and it was thick and had flavor.
I highly recommend this brunch experience!!! I had a wonderful mocktail with my flavorful jambalaya. My wife had one of the largest omelets that I've seen and of course, we shared our meals...and still had leftovers. The service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant.
My wife and I visited this location for the first time this past Saturday, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Upon arrival, we were seated right away, but things quickly went downhill. It took nearly 15 minutes before our server greeted us and took our drink order. Instead of bringing our drinks right away, she attended to another table, leaving us waiting even longer. After another five minutes, our drinks finally arrived, and we placed our order. While the food didn’t take too long to arrive, the quality left much to be desired. My wife ordered the Country Power Bowl ($15.29), which she said was decent, but the grits were bland and lacked seasoning. I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy ($12.99), which was a complete disappointment. The dish included two sausage patties on top — both awkwardly positioned with only half the patty on the plate. The sausage didn’t taste like sausage at all, instead overwhelmed with seasoning that threw off the entire dish. The biscuit was hard as a rock, difficult to cut with a knife, and there wasn’t nearly enough gravy to properly cover it. What little gravy there was tasted pasty and lacked flavor. My plate left my table with almost 3/4 of the plate full. I shared my concerns with our server, who simply said “okay” and seemed uninterested. Throughout the meal, she was inattentive — we had to repeatedly ask for drink refills, extra napkins, and coffee creamer. She disappeared for long periods, leaving us unsure if she was overwhelmed or just inattentive. The cost of breakfast was steep given the portion sizes, but the bigger concern was the poor food quality and lack of service. No manager ever checked in, and the server never mentioned my feedback about the meal. We’ve enjoyed far better experiences at 43rd Street Deli and Darrell’s Diner — both of which offer better prices, larger portions, and far superior service. Unfortunately, our visit to Another Broken Egg will likely be our first and last.

Second time visiting Another Broken Egg Cafe (First visit was the Saturday during the opening week). Food was just as great! Kurt was our server this time and he has an amazing personality and all the jokes. When I come back I'll definitely ask to be in his section!

Are you guys tired of hearing how fabulous Austin is yet? I hope not, because I’m sure you’ll hear it frequently for the foreseeable future. This is my third time sitting with him and it needs to be stressed what a gem this guy is. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient. I also need to throw Christy in this review, as she was absolutely killing it last Saturday when we sat with her. Can’t wait to see more of these two and enjoy your fabulous breakfast.

The breakfast here was spectacular. I love the concept of being able to have brunch any day of the week. The menu is definitely just right, it would be hard not to please someone with the variety offered. Shrimps and grits were delicious, the grits were perfectly creamy and the flavor of the shrimp was savory and stood out so perfectly. We also tried the goat cheese blueberry pancakes and WOW, they did not disappoint. Make sure to go with an empty stomach because food and bar menu extensive and you will want to try so many items. I can't wait to be able to eat here again.
