The food is always great its very busy but the employees work really quickly. I absolutely love the atmosphere even though the sitting area fills up quickly. I love all the different varieties of bagels

Bagels were delicious, chewy and doughy and the cream cheese was so yummy. It did take 30 minutes for me to get my coffee, which was only okay, but when it comes to bagels they're awesome.

New to the Gainesville area and stumbled upon this spot while stopping at USPS. It's so cute! Decor is very homey and welcoming. First stop I got the Pizza bagel on garlic, my gf got a focaccia on spinach I believe, and we split a lemon poppy seed muffin. Overall very yummy, a little up there in price but so is everything these days unfortunately. Stopped there again this morning I got a turkey bacon on garlic again, my gf got the vegetarian on sesame, and we split an apple cinnamon muffin. Omg that muffin was to die for, super moist! I liked it more than the lemon. No shade to the lemon I'm just used to really artificial lemon I think, it tasted homemade which isn't a bad thing! Staff seemed friendly, it was busy so not much they could do while keeping up with orders etc. Will definitely stay coming when funds allow!

My husband and I come here nearly everyday for their Guatemala hot coffee it’s truly THE BEST! Today we tried their bagels and their 3 cheese roast beef focaccia sandwich and WOW! 10/10 - team members are so sweet even when there is a long line- truly a hidden gem! Once you discover them you will be here everyday! Love this local hidden gem!

A great breakfast spot with friendly staff, I was in Gainesville 5 days and came here twice, I recommend the bacon and cheddar bagel with regular cream cheese, I liked the ice coffee too, pricing is very reasonable compared to a lot of other spots

I have been going to The Bagel Bakery for years, but lately the service has gotten markedly worse. If you order toasted bagels with butter or cream cheese they will sit getting cold while the dozen or so people who came in after you get their food.

I love a lox bagel, but in the past I have found their’s too overwhelming, too large. Ironic right, people normally complain of too small of portions. So I really didn’t go there often based on this. But I loved the freshness. So I went in today and asked for it to be cut into quarters. I got a strange look when I ordered it. The young man got a strange look when he called the order out as ready. It was so nice that regardless of the odd request they were willing to accommodate. A little common courtesy goes a long way in a world that likes to focus on the negative.

We go here almost daily for lunch every time we are up here from our home in Vero Beach, FL. We sit outside with wonderful friends we have met there. The food and service are great. We love the owner, Mr. K Rembert, and all his staff are great! 😊
I am a regular. Their bagels are chewy and perfectly dense. The staff are always kind, even during the busiest moments. I appreciate that their muffins aren't overly sugary. They have improved the pastries and their coffee is great.

New ownership and first time my bagel has been unsatisfactory in the 15 years I’ve been going to bagel bakery. Bagel tasted like it came off the charbroil grill at BK today. The other persons in my party tasted like another bagel entirely. Toaster clearly needs to be cleaned better.

New owner is doing it right! Just gave this place another try and the bagels were delicious - fresh and chewy. I love New York bagels and this is the closest you’ll get to them in Gainesville. I’ve tried all the other bagel shops, and these are the best in town.
