The food has gone downhill. Their new menu is awful. They removed the creamy bulgogi and garlic and wine pork belly. We went there and we were served horrible rice. The rice was half done along with the salad was crappy. Ice burg lettuce was given instead of the usual romaine. They also give u a small portion each time. They used to give you much bigger portions. It's completely gone downhill. The service was also very mid compared to before. I have been going here for couple years now and this is definitely worse then it used to be.

So it had been a while since our first time here, and I was concerned with the reviews about the change of menu. However, people really like to complain!! The food was amazing! We did the A menu (All you can eat). They bring out 3 meats at a time, after your done, they come back with another 3 (you always get to chose which ones you want next). The flavor was delicious, the beef menu excellent. I feel like the service is much organized now. We would recommend this place 100%

Don't let the "Changed Menu is bad" reviews deter you away from this place. They added new meats that has wayyyyy better flavor than it did previously. I don't need sides or sauces if they want to save some money. Try ALL of the new Olive meat like the top skirt.

Our waitress was amazing, but the whole menu has changed and the food just isn't as good anymore.

This place is a joke. I considered myself a frequent customer to this place. Been eating kbbq here since they opened. I refuse to go to this place anymore. They not only increased prices, which is understandable, they’ve done that a couple of times already, but they also took off the most basic Brisket from their cheaper choice and either got rid of side dishes or changed their recipe (and not for the better). Low variety of meat/seafood options and too sweet marinated meats which was forgivable at the old prices but not justified in the new prices.Did they change management? I didn’t believe the recent reviews because I didn’t think it could change that much for the worst, but yeah I agree. They lost a customer in me. $30 guys… and no brisket (which I have always seen included in other places at their cheaper option). It’s not like their meats are better than the other kbbq resturants, too. If you prefer the seasoned but, in my opinion, cheaper cut meats; then the change might not be so bad for you.I really wish someone else would open up another kbbq place in Gainesville; there isn’t any other option here.Service: goodFood: mediocreBest for: convenience of it being the only dedicated kbbq place around or those who can’t try kkbq elsewhere

I used to go to this place every month or two for a few years. Then, recently, they changed their menu entirely.Since Covid, they already made changes a couple of times, and was always open to try. The changes were okay, you may like some and hate some, but overall we loved it.The last change however, was just ridiculously bad... First, the best creamy beef bulgogi, is gone. The sides also modified, and not as various and yummy as they used to be. Gone are the cripsy chicken wings and tempura roll. The dumplings are different. On the menu, I choose something and I get "Oh, We're out of this"... We were in the middle of the day! And I had already started eating! The waiter never told me half of their meats are out, so I kept choosing meats, and they tell me they are out... So, I ended up only eating like two different meats the whole lunch. It was a very boring lunch...Any question I ask about the differences from before, and I get some generic answers that I discovered to be wrong each time after trying...I went there a couple more times, and it was the same crap each time. So, I just gave up. I haven't returned since, and don't plan on coming back. I was very disappointed, because I used to love the place... too bad...

The new menu is terrible! It makes me so sad , we use to go once a week . Please bring back the old menu . The new beet colored daikon is awful , the new sauces are not good and the new KFC sauce is just bad . We really want to go back but just can’t with the new menu . If you’re trying to cut cost , increase your prices instead . I’d happily pay more to have your old menu back and I think your other frequent customers would do the same .

I was super excited to go to this restaurant, because my son and his roommate raved about it. However, it was mediocre. There was nothing special about the flavors of the meats. The appetizers were too salty and too sweet. So clearly in overall downgrade in quality. The sauces that they serve for the meats were awful. They no longer have Yum Yum sauce. The chicken Katsu is now pork. It’s greasy and lacking any flavor or texture, the shrimp was OK and the chicken was pretty good. The sauces that they serve for the meats were awful. The miso soup was terrible. They no longer have Yum Yum sauce. And, the overall quality was just not there for the price.
