I was looking forward to trying their food but the gentleman decision to Argue with me about the simplest misunderstanding.
My 16 year old son asked for chicken and ribs $35 and two sides are included
We wanted the beans and rice and mac and add an additional side on greens(additional charge)
The gentleman charged us 35 and 7 for green and 7 for mac so i figured it was a mistake and i just needed $7 back.
As i politely pointed out the error the gentleman said maybe next time dont send a child! My thought was maybe dont try to rip people off but i smiled and said sir its common sense that two of my sides should be included and charge only for one.
He argued with me instead of just refunding the $7 and i explained to him ive been in customer service for years and i couldn’t believe what was being blowed up for nothing and i was hungry as hell ugh
It ended with sir never mind please refund entire meal!
His response was i will and that doesn’t bother ME you want a refund and im here to tell you it SHOULD BOTHER YOU WE THE PEOPLE KEEP YOU IN BUSINESS AND PLEASE USE THIS AS A LESSON TO BETTER YOURSELF BECAUSE ONE BAD APPLE CAN SPOIL THE REST! Other than that i wish you success but next time listen to listen and dont get so hostile a 7$ refund costed you $57 buck and to me thats a loss!

Our organization had Bite Down cater a luncheon recently, and everything was fantastic. We ordered the chicken and rib combo with sides of mac & cheese and collard greens. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the sauces were spot on. The sides tasted like good, old-fashioned home cooking. Everyone was impressed by the food and complimented both the quality and professionalism of the service. Ordering from the food truck added a casual, fun atmosphere and ensured that everything was served hot and fresh, rather than sitting in serving trays. Overall, it was an excellent experience!

Tried the ribs and chicken dinner plate. The meat was juicy and falling off the bone, seasoning was on point and the BBQ sauce was amazing. The Mac n cheese was absolutely delicious, baked beans were a little too sweet for my liking but my husband loved them and devoured it. Definitely coming back for more.
The food was so good, and I don't even like barbecue. We had been seeing them on the corner of 13th street for ages before finally succumbing to the delicious, tantalizing smells. We had the ribs with original barbecue and two sides (rice and macncheese), a chicken sandwich with jerk sauce, and a Pineapple Lemonade. Again, coming from someone that doesn't like barbecue typically because of the smoked aspect, they are doing something damn right with the way they smoke their meats. The meat is still tender, juicy, and flavorful. The Pineapple Lemonade tastes like pineapple upside down cake in liquid form - it's gold, but if you're looking for something more tart and lemony, it probably wouldn't be your style because it's SWEET. Tangy, but very, very sweet. The only setbacks were the fact that I could've used a little bit more seasoning on the rice and macncheese - the meat had flavor, but the sides seemed to lack a little. However I will say that the sides had the best textures I have ever had for macncheese and rice. Along with that, I wish we saw some different bread, like maybe some Texas style toast for the chicken sandwich. Regardless, this was an absolutely A+ meal and we look forward to trying more menu items and frequenting their truck!
I had an order from their pop-up location on the corner of 13th and NW 16th on Superbowl Sunday and it was FABULOUS. I had the ribs and chicken combo and loved every bite. Both were tender and juicy and full of that excellent rich smoky flavor, with a pretty-close-to-perfect bark. I'm not a huge ribs fan, but I'd eat these any day. The baked beans were good (strong on the brown sugar, but that's fine with me) and the nice was surprisingly flavorful and fluffy. I can't really comment on the atmosphere since this was a canopy in a gas station parking lot, but the food was fantastic.

All the good BBQ you can expect, but what really amazed me was their sauce. Their Bite-Down BBQ sauces are amazing and I would go back for just that. Aside, I had their half rack ribs with plantains and beans on the side. The half-rack was cooked perfectly and went great with the sauces. My only regret is I didn't get a full slab of ribs! I will be going back for sure. A must try if one enjoys BBQ!
