Vibes were excellent - music and decor. Cappuccino was on point and the orange vanilla gelato was exquisite. A cozy space to be with wonderful treats.

Completely unacceptable! We were the only customers waiting, and the staff still ignored us for about 10 minutes. They saw us, made eye contact, and chose not to acknowledge us at all. No greeting. No “we’ll be right with you.” Not sure how they run their business !

Music, atmosphere, coffee quality, food and staff are TOP. I can’t emphasize how much we enjoyed this place and the vibes. Try Hazelnut ice cream. Coffee is of high quality. Crepes are wonderful- many healthy sweet options with reasonable price.

It’s a mixed experience for me, I understand downtown pricing but the coffee is not worth it.

Café Voltaire has a cozy and inviting atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in. The lighting is soft, which gives the space a calm and relaxed feel, perfect for studying or spending time with friends. The music fits the mood well, adding character without being distracting. Their menu offers a thoughtful mix of savory and sweet items, and the crepes are especially worth trying whether you want something filling or something light and sweet. As a tea drinker, I really appreciate the variety of teas, which feels like a genuine part of the menu rather than an afterthought. The combination of good food, a strong tea selection, and a warm setting makes Café Voltaire a place I look forward to returning to often.

Food and coffee both were great, but a big shout out to the staff for being so incredibly nice to our kids, even on a busy Sunday morning. See you next time we’re in town!
