OMG !!!!!! China Star has the best food ever !!! The food is so fresh, the service was fantastic!! Now there be line , but guess what with the attention they give to each and every customer we stood in line for two minutes, top !! And yes , their prices are very cost efficient !!!! Winner 🏆!!!

The food is sooooooo delicious! The service was great! The restaurant is so pretty! The lunch special every day is SUCH a good deal, and you get a lot of bang for your buck! Even used them for catering and it was amazing!

The food is good, some of the best Chinese food in Gainesville, and I have lived here 20 years. They are, however, not the cleanest. Tables are sometimes sticky, the front of trash cans are not cleaned as often as they should, and the door casings are downright nastsy from floor mops. Nit picking a bit. The egg rolls are tiny. See the attached picture, Ask for a cup for ice to go with your drink, and they give you a thimble, and the dinnerware is some of the smallest and most flimsy I have seen. Spend an extr nickle folks, I'll pay it. Over not a place you want to eat, get your food to go.

I love this place the food is always fresh. The one peeve that I have is I wish we could all get off these Covid hours this is ridiculous. This is a collage town people stay up later than 8-9pm

I’ve spent money at this establishment quite a few times over the years & never had a problem until recently. They have started to get rude. Not wanting people to place orders 40+ minutes until close, & rush you to get your order so they can close at a certain time, they even started locking their doors on customers 30 mintues prior to their closing time ,when they can prepare food as quickly as 15 mintues on top of that the chicken wings are very strange looking & not full
Chicken wings! I like their food but the service had begun to weigh on me even wanting to order & deal with them! Pictures added & videos will be posted on ALL social media. Never again!
