I recently dined at Chopstix and had such a fantastic experience from start to finish. The service was truly exceptional, attentive, friendly, and welcoming without ever feeling rushed. Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious, and the fun, lively atmosphere made the whole meal even more enjoyable. It’s clear they take pride in both their food and their customer experience. The restaurant was also very clean and well-kept, which always matters. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Chopstix to anyone looking for great food, great service, and a great vibe.

Hands down our favorite restaurant in town! We venture to chopstix weekly for family dinner night and we are never disappointed! The food is always consistent and terrific customer service! This is truly a gem for Gainesville and one of the few family owned restaurants here. When you go- the chicken wings are a MUST! The spicy duck soup, ultimate fried rice, pad kee mow… I could go on with rave reviews! If you have tried it- add it to your list and go now!

My favorite place on Earth! I am always so grateful for the generous portions, the DELICIOUS food, the atmosphere, the great service, and most of all, I am grateful for the wonderful family who owns and manages Chopstix! It is not an easy job, but they clearly love it. Thank you Titi, JD, and the whole family!
Love! Love! Love!

This place has really gone downhill. The customer service is HORRIBLE. We waited an hour for food. Reservations was at 7 pm. Yes it was 12 of us but we didn’t get our food until 9:00 pm. Mark the manager/cashier was so rude and JD he had been drinking you could smell the alcohol on his breath. He was so rude to us. I had never had an experience like this here. It was terrible. Food was burned just terrible.

Gainesville had a real gem with this place. We chose to go to Chopstix Cafe after searching for a local eatery. So happy we did! We order Spring rolls as an appetizer, and they arrived piping hot and full of fresh goodness with. Great dipping sauce. My husband ordered a combo noodle bowl with beef, chicken and pork which was full of flavor and tender meats and vegetables. I ordered the special, Short Rib Bun Bo Hue, and I’m glad I did! Best I’ve ever had! A large, tender short rib was situated on top with an extra plate to cut it off the bone and add back to the soup, a rich lemongrass, lightly spiced broth with soft noodles and a plate of fresh bean sprouts, Thai basil, a lime wedge and jalapeño slices to add for extra flavor. I was in heaven!🤗. We met the beautiful TiTi and her handsome hubby, owners, while enjoying our meal and learned their family has had this restaurant for over 30 years! Please go if you are in town-you will be glad you did. I give them 10 ⭐️s😋
Our server was Esteban and he was just amazing! The service here is always exceptional. Food was delicious (we had the four seasons) and plenty to share. Will be back!

This is by far one of my favorite places to eat in Gainesville and has been a staple in my dinner selection for years. I used to live in the apartment complex right next-door and would order it for takeout. Even the view is amazing especially if you go around the time of day when the sunset is showing, and the staff have such amazing attitudes, especially the owner JD. This is a great place to take someone out on a date or someone special somewhere or even just have a day to yourself and go sit outside and look at the sunset over the water.

Restaurantji Recommends
The main dish I ordered had a sheen of oil on top. The vegetables had not been cooked at all and the sauce tasted like burnt teriyaki sauce. No asked why the was left uneaten or why no take home box.

Love this family owned and operated restaurant. I have eaten here many times on many different occasions and I have not been disappointed. The dishes are freshly made to order and you can get each dish made hot or not…whichever way you want it, they will do it. I have eaten their 8 and 9 on a scale of 10….9 was getting hot but I love spicy food and if you don’t, it’s no worries for them as they can make your dish however you want!!!! All the staff is so nice and friendly and they make sure your meal is prepared how you like it.
Great food and a good atmosphere with a spectacular view of Bivens Arm. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to eat freshly made to order Pan-Asian meals.

What a stroke of luck. Wide selection of Asian items. We had Panang curry and an Asian salad. You could come here every day for a month and not order the same thing twice. Nice Malay decor with a nice view of the lake.

Everything was sooo good!! Food was delicious, service was top tier (was checked on by multiple staff members throughout the visit), atmosphere was perfect, and did I mention the food? Everything I ordered was hot, fresh, flavorful, and was just on another level. Came all the way from Jacksonville and will definitely be back.

If you are interested in getting variety of Asian food especially then this can be right place. You can different style of noodle soup from Vietnam, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, China and Japan with different selection of meat as chicken, pork, seafood and beef. The best part is that you can choose Ramen, Udong, Pho, Thai noodles etc with your selection of meat. You can also get different varieties of grilled meat, teriyaki chicken and also varieties of soup including oxtail. For seafood lover there is shrimp, octopus, etc along with the California roll, volcano roll etc for the roll lovers. The restaurant is so busy that even with pre reservations you may need some wait time. The food are very near to authentic as you can imagine that it is difficult to get every native component of particular dish however they have best reflection of the effort. The desert is also awesome but the mango cake is fantastic. Best place to be with family and friends and should never miss when you have multicultural friend or foodie pals.
