The diner offers a classic ambiance with an old-school charm, serving food that hits the mark of being satisfactory. What stands out is the exceptional customer service and reasonable prices, making it a cozy spot for those looking to enjoy a slice of nostalgia without breaking the bank.

My husband and I love this breakfast spot. Our wonderful waitress was Patricia - she was so warm, welcoming, and attentive. The food is delicious! I wish there was outside seating so I could bring my dog!

It is a great place to have breakfast. The service was quick and the kids loved their dishes. I highly recommend.

Stopped in today for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff, very clean and the food was great. Ordered the Sunrise burger and the thing was huge and delicious. Wife had the philly cheese steak and it was good too. Love all the dog pictures (actually all are puzzles) decorating the place. I will certainly be back to try breakfast sometime.

Breakfast. The food was great & plentiful. Our server, Sara, was the best! Attentive, fast & always smiling. (Maybe put some felt pads under the chair legs. ?)

Food was good.Server was weird, argumentative, and made out of pocket comments.Would love to go back for the food, will make sure she is nowhere near my table or food however.

Darrell's is our go to place when I would like lunch and my husband wants breakfast! The breakfast menu can't be beat and is cooked exactly how you want it! The menu items on the lunch menu are amazing, of the ones I've tried I still don't have a favorite! They have all been good!I will edit this review when I have successfully tried them all!!Go, meet the staff. They make the place!

We really wanted to like place more. When you enter it has a that locally owned feel I tend to prefer. The service is courteous and looks properly staffed for the demand. It appears they may more locations in the Gainesville area. We got there around 11 so we did lunch. The breakfast from what I can smell and see might have been a better choice. We had the cheese steaks, fries including the sweet potato ones, burger, potato salad and such, quesadillas. Most of the food seemed prepared well, but all lacked seasoning. The burger tasted fresh as its accompaniments. Unfortunately it lacked flavor. The potato salad looked like a mustard based one. I was hoping for more flavor as it was rather bland. Th

Great food, great service and definitely a place I would come back to. Omelette was light and fluffy, sausage gravy was delicious and the pancakes are super tasty. Only thing I could complain about is the noise due to it being very open with few things to absorb the sound when it's busy but the puzzle decor is super cool.

Very disappointing experience. After viewing the website, and seeing this was a pet friendly restaurant with a dog menu, we agreed to meet with colleagues for lunch. Upon arrival, I entered and asked if 5 people, a dog and a cat could be seated. The young lady replied that it would be fine to sit in the corner table. The remainder of our party arrived and we walked toward the entrance. We were quickly cut off at the door by a man who quite rudely stated that we couldn’t come inside because they only accommodate service dogs but said he could pull a table outside (in the wind, shade and cold). Never was I asked if my dog was a service animal or if I would consider leaving my cat in the vehicle. We left. It wasn’t only because we were being told we weren’t welcome. It was the negative approach and behavior of the individual that made me choose to take our business elsewhere. Especially when he proceeded to tell us that the young lady who originally was pleasant and inviting to our party “no longer has a job here.” How unfortunate that she has to work beside someone like that. If anyone should “no longer have a job here” it’s him.

Our normal breakfast spot was closed so we stopped in here and were pleasantly surprised. My gf had a omelette she said the eggs were light and super fluffy almost magical. My Reuben sandwich was excellent and the bread was a nicer thicker bread making it not get soggy. We both loved the coffee too. The service was friendly the seating and decor is simple dinner just tables and really good food. We are definitely going back a bunch.

Sat very quickly as you can seat yourself. Service was friendly. Food came out fast, but mediocre at best. Sharing charge was ridiculous. We probably won’t go back. Better food elsewhere for the same price.

Went for breakfast. Food was great. My partner got the breakfast burger with egg on it and it was huge!! Priced very cheap. I got the sausage, eggs, and hasbrowns. Was kinda pricy for what it was. It was about $40-45 for two people. They have on the menu that there is a $3 upcharge if you split a meal with someone. That was weird. It did not seem like it was for extra food, but simply for sharing.Coffee was mid. Wouldn't order it again.I would go back to try there lunch menu. I wish I tried their special of the day.Vegetarian options: You could get eggs and a starch. That's about itDietary restrictions: Nothing veganParking: In a plaza with low traffic, plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Seemed friendly to kids
